fox william mulder is just this incredibly intelligent man who graduated summa cum laude from the university of oxford, was top of his class at the fbi academy and graduated with honours as well, he wrote a monograph that was key to capture one of the most wanted criminals YET he’s incredibly humble and never ever uses these things to his advantage or to prove he knows more or that he’s better than anyone, in fact i can’t recall a single time he’s ever mentioned that he studied at oxford, it’s always some other person who points that out
