truly it is so frustrating to be a white person trying to deconstruct white supremacist narratives while surrounded by other white people who are just. living in their feelings. holy shit. "i can't help being white/american!" no, you can't. sit with that. and the reality of what those things mean, and that you had no choice, and that you've been used as a tool for a hegemony that doesn't even want you to be a human being, and how these things have harmed other humans, harmed our shared civilization, and then move through the white guilt to DO something about it besides begging the marginalized to validate your self actualization so you can do minimal work for it.
