The creator has given you a brain and the ability to learn, science and magic is there way of allowing us as its peoples to see just some of the magnificence of their complexity and creativity.

Magic is real and just a science we havent properly broken down enough for EVERYONE to use it.

The earth is alive and has a spirit and gaurdians as the creator intended

Humans are not the only race of peoples on the planet and thinking so is rediculous.

Modern Monster Association

what is M.M.A?

M.M.A - Modern Monster Association or Ma (pronounced like the slang term for mom) For short is a support group for modern monsters who are doing their best to survive in the modern world, and live side by side with their human neighbors.  What started out as a small online community has grown to a nationwide support group network! This group gives them ideas and connections to other monsters or non monsters known as M.M.A.A (Moderm Monster association allies)  who support their monster brothers and sisters and want to help them fit in with today's modern world! They even have mma run group castles (group homes) known as ma’s castle for monsters to live, in a safe and loving community! 

So far they have vampires, werewolves, demons, goblins, and sorcerers.

The Laws of MMA

1.  NO KILLING OF OTHER MONSTERS OR HUMANS OUTSIDE OF ABSOLUTELY NECESSARY SELF DEFENCE. Anyone found breaking this rule and killing for fun or sport, will they themselves be killed.

2. All monstlings must be REAL monsters. 

3. Mma is a semi secretive community. So no posting about it on facebook live or youtube or places for the whole world to see. Keep to the M.M.A website and forums. 

4.  Everyone must do their part of paying dues and doing Chores at their local Castle.

5. Everyone in ma are expected to uphold the laws, and try to deal with small problems FIRST before bringing it to the council.

The Hierarchy of MMA

Momsters - Senior most members of MMA whose rulings are Absolute. They are the highest form of authority you can seek in any matter. Currently Violet and spook are the only known Momsters. Momsters can be identified by Their Momster titled ma pins. 

Monstlings (monster siblings) - your basic member. EVERYONE starts out as a monstling and they either move up the ranks or they stay a monstling. Monstlings have the basic ma pins.

Cousins - Ma Allies who hold council Jobs. Can be identified by Council cousin ma pins or grand council cousin ma pins.

Allies - Allies of ma! humans who support and protect their monster brethren! Can be identified by M.M.A.A pins.

council - Those on the council are known as council monsters They deal with small internal sqwabbles, handle the money, give out chores, basically make sure shit runs smoothly. Can be identified by Council monster or council cousin ma pins.

Grand council - Those on the grand council are known as grandmonsters and they are the community voted law force. Judge, jury and executioners who deal with rule breakers! They decide your punishments, be they minor or serious. can be identified by grandmonster and grand council cousin ma pins

Violets abilities

We know about the ghost abilities now for the other magics!

Violet found she had a penchant for the mystical arts as a child, learning the sciences under ger father spook.

The sciences seemed to work with and explain her understanding of the things she noticed in the natural world.

The heartbeat of the world, was magic. The eb and flow was the magic running through earths veigns.

She always noticed the spirits and could commune and interact with them. But when she noticed she could move things with a force of will or desire, things changed. She began to understand the river of life known as magic in the world and began developing her own abilities.

Now she uses magic in various aspects of her life.

She hexes and curses and almost voodoo controlls bad guys into confessing or making them disapear.

Uses her force to carry or move things.

flaw/limit: Ghost;

1 she cant slip through water because it would wash her away and she'd die, but she can float above water.

2 can only float when there are things around to more or less “bounce off of” (so in cities or forests, enclosed spaces she can float/almost fly but in open spaces like the ocean/desert/plains she can only float a few feet off the ground

.3 if she uses her ability too much she gets extremely exhausted/can or will just pass out.

what it does: Speaker;  violet can start to whisper and control the souls of the dead to do her bidding. works only when the ghost trait is active.

flaw/limit: Speaker;

1 if she's not specific about what she needs the souls to do, things can go south fast. (i. e. she asks them to make another person be quiet. what she wants: sock in mouth or duct tape over mouth. what she gets: persons head ripped clean off, voice box destroyed, etc

2 If used too much the whispers of the souls will drive her temporarily (and possibly completely) insane

background story: at six violet learned that she came from a long line of forgemasters, her parents gifted her a necklace that helped in the use of their abilities. Later that night her home was burned to the ground as a horde of vampires raided her town. She made it out, her parents did not. All the women, children and men were rounded up.

the men were sold off as slaves to vampiric nobles, so were some of the unliked women. The rest were kept as personal pets, food sources and entertainment.

one night after the vampires partied a little too hard the girls made their escape. They all rushed into the wilderness in hopes of escaping the clutches of their vampiric captors. Most were captured, some were killed, but a few of the girls were lucky.

Violet was among the lucky few that escaped. she got away with a minor slice from one of her captors swords. Her arm bled and led the vampires her way, but being the smart child she was she ran into a stream, cleaned her wound, tied it and traveled as fast as she could u the stream. She found a tree with hollowed out roots and took refuge there, half dead.

she was found. But not by the vampires who wanted to harm her. Instead she was found by an Asian vampire by the name of Spook. He claimed to be friendly and want to help. she wasn't sure why she trusted the man but she did. He helped her, and then he began to teach her science. when he learned of her forgemaster abilities he was thrilled. the two began bringing back all sorts of things, extinct plants and animals, things that were sick and had died. They eventually grew to learn to cure some of those illnesses. As they traveled they learned more and more, helped more and more and hope to continue helping people for a long time.

Violet still dislikes vampires, but spook makes it better. she loves her weird asian vampire dad with all her little human heart!

How It Works: its basically a wind scooter with a sail. its has a motor attached to it and allows violet or spook or whomever else in the family has one to move from one place to another in a speedy manner. can be used with the family ghost quirk to make them go even faster by making their bodies lighter.

About violet: her parents died in a house fire wen she was six, she watched the whole thing and had to listen to her parents scream. Ran away from the scene, lived alone for six months before being caught and put into foster care where she was picked on by other children for her height and spooky quirk. She was quickly snapped up by spook who fell in love with her and adopted into the spectra family.shes afraid of fire for this reason. flashbacks with screaming and crying/general episodes, paralysis. its debilitating in her every day life and hoes to one day get over it.
