Return from hiatus (AGAIN)

Hello all I decided to get back on this blog since I originally had to leave because of personal family problems including them deleting all of my skype contacts and ruining my computer that I had to work really hard to fix. However if anyone is still out there that would want to roleplay with my Green please let me know! And FYI -- no i most likely will not be going back tao my Leaf blog as of yet.

Back from haitus

if some of you follow queenofkanto you'll know I went on haitus to move houses over this weekend and didn't really have time to reblog on this blog cause airport wifi is shitty wifi but I"m pretty much all moved in now and think I can be prepared to start writing all the replies that I need. So I'm going to get back to replies that i had to put on hold and be prepped for anyone who wants more! I apologize for the slow start!

He normally didn't pour over books, but today had been a special circumstance. He hated researching because he hated not knowing answers to questions, but if his Gramps asked him to do something he'd usually do it. Hearing Leaf's female voice Green looked up blinking to get rid of the blur in his way to see the other female. Wait, what was Leaf doing here again? How out of it had he been, damn? 

"Uh. Yeah. Doin' research for Gramps. What's it to ya, runt?" Green asked with a smirk. Ah when you caught Green by surprise always expect some kind of insult.

She dropped her book on the bed she was sitting at,getting up to get a glass of water. Before going to her room for the rest of the night, Leaf went to see what Green was doing. 

Leaf peaked her head in through the creaky, wooden door. “Are ya gonna stay up all night? Again? ”

"Stop sayin' sorry, Fire... jeez." Green said reverting to the old nickname they'd used for Red when they were kids. It was as close to a 'I forgive you' as Red would get from the stubborn headed teenager. Kasai nuzzles Red slightly when their foreheads meet and licks his face. Watching as Green grumbled and looked away, no doubt muttering something along the lines of 'traitor..' or some other childish equivalent.

Green sighed when Red tried to insist that him practicing to come home wasn't a big deal. "It is a big deal, dummy. At least for you. It's glad to see you're trying but you know Viridian isn't that crowded of a city. I can hide you in the back of my freaking Gym if I have to... Pallet doesn't get anymore tourists since a few years ago too. So you have no excuse!" Green said his cheeks slightly scarlet at the thought that he had basically just openly told Red he wanted him to come home... Great now he looked like the weak one.

"I just don't think this mountain has got anything more to offer ya, Fire. I'm glad to hear you were travelin' I guess." Green said rubbing the back of his neck awkwardly. Kasai chuckled and nudged Red closer to Green as she sat on her haunches.

   ”Sorry.” He blurts it out a second time, a blanket statement, a shield. Red was calm to some extent and he didn’t expect to be punched of all things but his feelings were obviously transparent to his childhood companion. Still, he continues to pat the pokemon and with their head lowered, softly rests his forehead against theirs. “… I like him.” He directs that towards Green, hoping that it would seem more like he wasn’t just escaping. He was, sort of, but he was naturally drawn to pokemon in any situation.

   Practicing to come home…. It really did sound obscure. Just by the tone the other had used before told him how he was suppressing frustration. It was nice that he wasn’t yelling. The fact that they were trying was clear. Now Red just needed to offer the same. “I meant….. talking… crowds… walking…” As the list goes down his voice quiets down considerably and then rises back up after a pause to say, “It’s not.. a big deal.”

   Lying was not his strong suit but he was alright at diverting subjects and revealing information in ways that he either tried to conceal as unnoticeable or casual. That was definitely in play here, but he did’t know if it would work. Green was very sharp on his feet and he wouldn’t let things slip by easily.

   ”Does that make sense?”

"I was born this way, Leafy." Green sighed and looked around. "I probably won't do anything to be honest. Why, you wanna take me somewhere? Ow!" he grabbed at his head where she's smacked him. "Owww..."

She started walking over to him, a book in hand. “Why’re ya such a jerk?” Leaf had hit him with her book enough for it to sting for a second. “So what’re ya gonna do today?”

He could tell he'd upset her again. Sheesh, she was about as silent as Red. "Uh yeah, he's still up on Mt. Silver last I heard. Gym Leader responsibilities can be troublesome sometimes, but its okay really..."

He scratched the back of his head shortly. "Uh I can show you around the Gym if you want and all that..." He said hoping that a tour might make up for his earlier rude comments.

Runt? She’ll give a small frown, obviously upset about what he said. It wasn’t her fault she was too short. Actually, he was just too tall! “Wanted to see how you were doing. I-I haven’t seen you or Fire in awhile so…” Her voice will trail off, her gaze shifting away from his and retreating to the floor. “What’s it like bein’ a Gym Leader?”

Green had a bit of a better chance at dodging the snowball from hitting his face, so he thought he'd be smart and lean back and it'd go flying behind him. Nope. The snowball hit directly on Green's collarbone and he screamed like a girl. "Cold! Holy crap! Cold! I'm gonna make you pay, Red!" He said grabbing more snow and hurling it at his old friend.

   Paff—-!

   The snow hits right on target and Red nearly knocks himself over. He splutters a bit, spitting out snow as he wipes his face. His expression is askew in confusion and exhaustion.

   ”…….. Hey….” He leans down and picks up some of his own and hurls it as best he can in Green’s direction.

"Wake up, loser." Balling up some snow he throws it, aiming for Red's face. Ha ha.

"…. Sleepy."
