Post of strength for all people heading into battle this Thursday as the singular person holding the fabric of the family together.
#my therapist said to not expect things to go well because historically they have not gone well#and having an outside perspective say that made me feel a bit more rational in mentally preparing for the worst so <3 sharing

a whole bunch of gazan mutual aid projects and nonprofits. if the decision of which individual fundraiser to give to feels too daunting, or if you just want to help as many people as possible in one go, these are great initiatives to support.
care for gaza - focuses on providing food and essential supplies. donate here or here.
connecting humanity - securing internet access via donations of virtual sim cards (esims). if you can't afford a whole plan yourself, crips for esims is a communal pool that will use your donation to purchase and maintain esims
gaza soup kitchen - provides food, medical care, and classes for children. also has a gofundme
glia gaza medical support initiative - provides medical care through field clinics and tents at hospitals. donations can also be sent through their website.
ele elna elak - provides clean water, food, clothing, and shelter. they also have a gofundme
life for gaza - raising money for the gaza municipality to repair water and waste management infrastructure
taawon - partners with local civil organizations to provide food, water, medical care, shelter, and basic supplies
the sameer project - running various initiatives providing tents, medical care, and necessities. they have their own encampment project focused on sheltering families with children, sick and disabled members, or members in need of perinatal care
islamic relief worldwide's gaza emergency appeal - provides food, water, hygiene kits, medical supplies, and psychological support
baitulmaal - provides a variety of necessities, including food, water, shelter, and medical supplies
gaza mutual aid fund - distributes food, hygiene products, water, and other essential supplies, including financial support. run by @/el-shab-hussein's amazing friend Mona. updates can be found on her instagram.
hygiene kits for gaza - provides hygiene supplies including menstrual products, wipes, and toothbrushes/toothpaste
anera - provides a variety of necessities, including food, water, hygiene supplies, medicine, blankets and mattresses, and psychological care
palestine children's relief fund - provides supplies and support with a focus on children. also has an initiative for lebanon
dahnoun mutual aid - provides water, food, tents, baby supplies, financial support, and other necessities. updates can be found through their instagram
certainly this is not an exhaustive list, so please feel free to add on other projects or organizations that i didn't include. and as always, please take the time to donate if you can and share. it truly makes all the difference.

hey let's start spreading the reminder now that you cannot safely self-manage an abortion with herbal medicine or essential oils. natural abortifacients function by poisoning you; you wait for your body to realize you're dying and reject the pregnancy in order to conserve resources, and hope that happens before the rest of your organs shut down.
i think there will be an upsurge soon of unscrupulous and/or malicious actors preying on desperate pregnant people; do not help them kill people. don't spread recipes for herbal medicines or ingestible essential oil mixtures that purport to cause a pregnancy termination.

I'd like to once again talk about a human being who I respect so much and who is such a hero, coordinating to vet hundreds of fundraisers, without consideration to himself and only in consideration of the people he might help. @ayeshjourney , who has been helping run @gaza-evacuation-funds. I am so fortunate to consider Mohammed my friend and for this opportunity to use my platform to give back the support he's given me and others, even just by a fraction.
He is still fundraising for his own family during this horrific genocide. Please support him as much as you can and share his fundraiser far and wide. He is by far so deserving.
He has raised £12,061 so far and his current short term goal is £15,000.

Internet mobs will be like "why doesnt anyone just ADMIT when theyre WRONG anymore??!!" and then treat someone like they deserve the death penalty because they said something off-colour on twitter when they were 14
No one will admit that they were wrong if you treat being wrong like its an eternal indictment against them with no chance for rehabilitation

The shape of a fish's caudal tail can tell you a lot about how fast the fish moves! A rounded tail is the slowest and a lunate tail is the fastest! The lunate tail has the most optimal ratio of high thrust and low draw, making it the fastest.

Ghazzawi fundraiser priority list!
These are fundraisers that my vetter Mohammed Ayesh has told me are high priority either due to the low amount of funds or due to the situation the person is in. If you donate to any of these, please leave a screenshot below so to encourage others to donate to the fundraiser!
Hazem Mohammed Al-Bardaweel: Hazem has lost his wife and children in a bombing that injured him badly. He needs help starting anew while grieving the loss of his family to genocide.
Hossam Bardaweel: Hossam has lost his parents and all his siblings, and is now left to care for his siblings' children and widows on his own. He needs help supporting them while grieving the loss of his family to genocide.
Namer Matar: Namer has lost his baby due to a sudden illness that affected his newborn twins. The family is devastated, and his wife is struggling with postpartum in conditions of genocide while grieving her newborn.
Mohammed Matar: Mohammed's entire future as a water infrastructure engineer, and the company he was setting the building blocks for are all gone. He now has to care for his children and his wife struggling with postpartum in conditions of genocide.
Rania Youssef: Rania's father was the breadwinner of the family. He suffered from an untreated chronic illness that took his life during the acceleration of the genocide. She needs help taking care of her family while they grieve this immense loss.
Maha Madhoun: Eman's elderly mother enduring chronic illnesses without access to vital medication. Their escape from the relentless bombardment of warplanes, dodging bullets and navigating through a sea of injured and deceased, is a haunting ordeal etched into their memory.

For me, it's either apples or bananas 🍌
And while we're here, please share and/or donate to help a woman widowed by genocide and her two small children to be able to provide for themselves in this genocide.

Here’s my story: I’m Mohamed, the brother of Yasser, and I’m following his campaign to raise funds to support my family during these difficult times. Thanks to God and your generosity, we’ve managed to collect £1,038 out of our £60,000 goal, with the help of 37 kind donors. I truly appreciate all of your support.
I want to remind everyone that any donation, no matter how small, can make a huge difference. Whether your contribution is £5 or something larger like £200, I am incredibly grateful for every bit of help. I hope we can reach our target as soon as possible to provide security and relief for my family during these challenging times.
Thank you all again for everything you’ve done.🫀
