This upcoming mission had the Zabrak nervous. Not for any enemy or obstacle that would be in the way, but the fact that this would be the first time working with other Jedi from the temple ever since he went grey. It was.. slightly nerve wracking, especially under the idea that they might judge him for straying off ‘the path’.
His lover’s words, however, brought a sense of peace to his mind, unable to help a light chuckle. “You spoil me, dear” Still, it was motivation nonetheless, and one he needed. “..If I may suggest where, perhaps that same place we went to a couple months back? Their food was quite amazing.”
After a moment, he gave a slight sigh, leaning against the commander with his head on his shoulder like some over sized puppy “..I love you”
Cisst wouldn’t know exactly how nervous his partner was feeling. If anything, he didn’t exactly understand. The bounty hunter had grown used to anything being said behind his back, the whispers, and any disapproving looks he got from his known lifestyle.
But that didn’t mean he wasn’t going to reassure Aukuna.
He couldn’t help but allow a small smirk in triumph. He knew that would’ve got him going. “Yettly’s Cantina? Yeah, we can go there again. ...I do want to try the Exosquidra.”
An arm weaved its way around the Zabrak, the smirk turning into a gentle smile. “I love you too, yaim. Do you have everything for this mission?”

“Yes, dear, right away.” Zech wasn’t about to argue this. Honestly, he desperately needed some affection from his queen, so her timing could not be any more perfect. With a quick sweeping motion, Zech scooped Kass right off her feet and into his arms, heading to their private quarters.
He’d then set her on their bed, kick off his shoes, and join her on the plush surface. Large arms naturally wove around her, pulling the sith close to his chest and nuzzling his face against her hair with a content sigh.
“Will that be all, my queen?” The bounty hunter questioned, voice already much softer and more relaxed than it was moments ago.
The hands on Kass’ hips swiftly made their way around Zech’s neck when she was, quite literally, swept off her feet. She couldn’t help the tiny smile on her face, resting her head against his chest. She felt tired lately, but she didn’t want to sleep without her beloved hunter with her.
She quickly got rid of anything clunky on her person as soon as she was set on the bed. The arms around her made her sigh in content, closing her eyes as she felt him press against her. A hand lovingly traced a hear on his arm.
“For the moment, yes,” She answered, snuggling and melting into the embrace. “However, later I would like for us both to make dinner together.”

@sensesdialed:
Earth is definitely aware of aliens. Ever since the attack on New York, Loki and the Chitauri, humans have known about life existing outside their planet. They just haven’t gotten too caught up on it.
Pretty crappy first trip to space for Peter. He doesn’t think it can get worse than crash landing on a desolate planet, fighting a Mad Titan, and everyone around him disappearing except for him. Thankfully, he isn’t stranded anymore—he has a chance of getting home.
“Uurtha? That sounds weird, but it’s close. I guess other people call it Terra, ‘cause I think I heard it um— before—“ His voice trails off, he heard the GUARDIANS say that word- they’re gone now.
“If it’s not gonna be a problem though, that’s good— really good.” He needs to know who’s left on Earth. If Ned is okay, if May is okay, how to fix all of this somehow. “Oh— um, no, I’ve never visited! This is…actually my first time in space.”
The names that the other lists off, they’re unmistakable, especially for a fan like him. That’s INSANE. No way it’s all real, right? And maybe it’s not an appropriate time, but it’s a distraction. “Actually, I’ve HEARD of it before…prob’ly not in the way you think, though. On Earth, there’s these— um, these movies- and more, but the movies are most popular- that have all those places in them. Alderaan, Tatooine, the Empire, the Republic- you’re saying it’s real?!”
“’Terra?’ Well, that term may be thrown around sometimes, but very loosely. No one talks about your planet, and, frankly, no one even visits it since it’s so far away,” Tymbios thought aloud. There was sympathy in the golden eyes— poor boy, his first trip to space, and he has to deal with loss. “...Perhaps one day, then, yes? With protection on some planets, it’s a nice trip.”
There was certainly confusion on the sith’s face when he talked about how he knew. Movies...? Maybe those were Earth’s kind of holocrons, but Tymbios could only take a shot in the dark. A heartening smile replaced the questioning look he had.
“Yes, they indeed are. They have an... odd treaty with one another, so it’s not full war. However, there is still sabotage, skirmishes, and the like. Nothing new. I hope that could cease with what had happened...”
He looked to a hill not far off, where a ship sat in waiting. A D–5 Mantis had its entrance open, a tall-looking silhouette in waiting, which swiftly spotted them and watched almost impatiently.
“There’s our ship. I believe that’s the commander waiting for us. I will warn you, he is rather intimidating at first. He’s suspicious of anyone he doesn’t know. ...But he has a soft spot for younger people, like you. He’ll probably have you call him by his name, but until then, you use ‘Commander’ when addressing him. Just a simple formality.”

Something about this new guy rubbed Zech the wrong way. No, not cause he was almost as tall as the bounty hunter was; he had that dealt with with Cisst. This guy just looked.. not alive, in all the wrong and weird ways. And that was coming from someone who was already, literally, a walking corpse.
‘Cipher Nine’ or what ever. He and his partner ‘Cipher Ten’ were helping Cisst with some bullshit mission, some ‘delicate work’ or what ever the fuck was going on.
“Hey” Zech finally spoke up after a moment “Yeah, you, motherfucker. Blink. You ain’t some wax figure.” Stars, it was almost creepy.
It was hard to look alive when you never showed emotion, and your skin was chalk white anyway.
Red eyes stared back at Zech, although blankly. Vykrron either glanced at the datapads words, or he was sipping tea freshly made. The hunter didn’t scare the sniper in the slightest— he worked with Cisst, for star’s sake. And was threatened and electrocuted by sith lords.
He looked back over to Zech when he was addressed crudely, staring in response. Not blinking out of spite? Maybe.
“No one said I had to follow your orders, Salbone. You don’t need to tell me when to do a normal bodily function. I can do that on my own, thank you.”

When it came to smuggling, Audraki usually worked alone. But then again, ever since she joined Deadshot Donovan’s crew, she’s been working alone less and less. It was.. a change. She wasn’t going to admit if it was a good or a bad one, even though it was.. kind of nice. Hell, they’ve put up with her too long and too realistically to have been planning to stab her in the back, so she might as well enjoy it.
And make no mistake, she loved a good smuggling adventure.
Spinning her blaster, she surveyed the loot that Rashyyn and her had gotten away with. “Not bad” She whistled, holstering her weapon and setting her hand on her hip instead. “Dare I say, a pretty good job. Not as pretty as us, though” Audraki smirked, placing a hand under her chin.
“And did you see the look on the managers face? Hah! I think he shat himself” She turned to her partner in crime, a wide grin set on her features
Rashyyn had a sly smile under the cloth hiding her face. She was looking at everything closely, the goggle for her one eye set aside on the table. Her arms crossed, and she couldn’t help but give a small laugh.
“No, not bad at all,” She chimed softly. “Oh yeah? I’d say not as pretty as you, most likely.”
She stood from her crouching position, flicking her left lekku over her shoulder. The gunslinger couldn’t help but give a laugh.
“Are you kidding? I loved it! But I think you’re right— these goods will definitely last a while. If not sell for a pretty credit or two. I think some of the metals in here are on the rare side, but I’ll have to doublecheck.”
All in a smuggling day’s work

“Would this one work?”
Aukuna wasn’t the most knowledgeable when it came to makeup and jewelry, having no real exposure to it all his life. But he wasn’t going to turn down spending time with Tymbios regardless of what they were doing. He picked up a palette off the peg, turning it side to side to see how the light reflected off the glittery powders.
“This one’s rather pretty” He then turned the packaging over, scanning the rather bare back, a brow raising in confusion “They never have an ingredient list, do they? How are people supposed to know if it contains something they’re allergic to?”
The Zabrak hummed, before glancing over at the jewelry section nearby “Are you allergic to any kind of metals? Or was it just a certain ingredient in makeup you needed to avoid?” He looked back over to his brother, a confused but nonetheless happy smile on his face.
“The one in your hand? While the gold is a rather pretty color... It wouldn’t be something I would wear without occasion.”
Tymbios glanced at the palettes his brother was looking at before back to the jewelry on the shelves. He hummed softly in thought as he glanced over them, gold eyes scanning the gemstones and colors.
“Not metals, or else one lightsaber I had would have caused an allergic reaction by now. It was just one ingredient in makeup, parabens, but it’s so difficult to find a brand that doesn’t use them. Speaking of, the brand you’re holding does. ...And it’s extremely expensive, don’t mind that one.”
Delicate hands plucked off a piece of jewelry off the shelf, looking over the black stones over it, surrounded by the gold.
“How does this look, brother?”

“Say goodnight, Zewa~”
“Goodienight Cish!!”
Field disappeared into their designated room for a moment as he put Zewa to bed, making sure the door shut quietly behind him on his way back out. He let out a quiet exhale, before green eyes would land on his Commander.
“Hey, um.. Before you go anywhere-” He paused, one hand going to scratch the back of his neck while the other dove into his pocket; a nervous tick of his “Can we uh- Can- er.. I wanted to- uh..” Field stumbled, before sighing and deciding to just sit next to Cisst.
“I wanted to thank you, for.. you know-” Field finally got out after a moment, a genuine thankfulness in his eyes. “Everything. It.. finally feels like I have some room to breathe for the first time in, like- half a decade” A small, quiet laugh left him.
That didn’t mean he wasn’t still scared, of course. Hell, up till recently he had been absolutely terrified of the bounty hunter before him, but it was hard to be scared of someone whose saved his and his daughter’s lives in more ways than one.
“Seeya in the morning, kid.”
There was a small salute to the Twi’lek before the door shut completely, the hunter now pushing himself away from the wall to sit on the couch. He paused in his footsteps when the Mirialan spoke, but only for a moment before situating on the cushions.
Eyes watched Field curiously, his face in its neutral expression. A single, hushed snort left him.
“Shouldn’t thank me. Rashyyn’s the one that came to me about this,” He answered. He fiddled with his metal arm quietly, vents appearing and letting out the heat inside before closing. Digits moved in testing before Cisst turned his gaze back to the smuggler.
“I would’ve helped you anyway, seeing you have a kid and all. Nice daughter, by the way. Not much of a troublemaker.” That was supposed to be a compliment.

“R– right, right…” Peter responds, still trying to gain his own composure, but he swallows the lump in his throat and gives the other a nod– he really hopes it doesn’t look like he’d been crying before.
The two of them begin walking along the desolate planet, and an anxious feeling pools in the pit of his stomach. What if he never gets back again? Is everyone just gone for GOOD? He’s so unbelievably TERRIFIED of losing people, and then everyone on Titan disappeared. And then Mr. Stark disappeared. What about Ned? or May? He doesn’t know what he’ll DO if they’re gone too.
“Oh– um, Earth, I’m from Earth. You guys– um, you guys call it Terra though, right? I read that somewhere, not sure if it was true though–”
Wait a second. Did he…did he just say Coruscant? And Alderaan? Even in his current state, Peter RECOGNIZES those planets. No…no way, right? Total coincidence. “Did you say Coruscant and Alderaan?” CURIOSITY gets the better of him, but then he realizes how weird that has to sound.
“I– um, I mean ‘cause– I’ve never really known much about other planets, Earth’s not..uh, too caught up.” At least it serves as a distraction too.
No, it looked like Peter was crying, but Tymbios didn’t say anything. After seeing people around you turn to dust, it was a decent reaction to have, right?
The man allowed the younger to have some space, being silent as they walked. He wanted to say something, just in case Peter was distracted with what just happened, but what could he say? Perhaps the silence would be more comforting to him.
Tymbios blinked at the names, confusion clear. “...Earth? No, I’ve... never heard of that planet by those two names. Unless...” The gears turned in his brain. Earth, it sounded familiar... Something clicked after a moment.
“Ah, unless you’re talking about Urthha! Then perhaps I do know. I will have to do some digging, however. Should not be a problem, I assure you. With the help of a galaxy map, and a holocron consisting of planet and star names, I’ll understand in no time.”
There was a nod in confirmation. “Yes. Unless you’re more familiar with Dromund Kaas— Tatooine, perhaps? No, you don’t seem like you would have visited there, or Nar Shaddaa, for that matter— Er, anyway! I did. Coruscant is under the Galatic Republic, and Alderaan is... a bit of both Republic and Empire. ...Unless you’re not familiar with those two, either. Apologies, this must be a lot of information if you do not know.”

He didn’t think to try and get Karen to send out a distress signal. Luckily, his suit did it for him- maybe now he has some hope…or at least, he won’t be stuck on an unfamiliar planet.
“Are…are you sure?” Peter asks immediately, brows furrowed as he stays sat on the ground. The entire world just turned to dust, and they actually want him to come? Shouldn’t they have…more pressing issues? But he’d be an idiot not to accept, especially considering he has no other plan.
The hand reached out to him, Peter lifts his own to grab it, slowly pulling him to his feet. His head aches for a moment, and black spots dance around his vision, but they cease quick enough, and he’s ready to go.
Except a part of him doesn’t want to leave the ashes on the ground.
Stupid, there’s nothing he can do about it.
“Um– Peter,” He answers, unsure if he should give his full name, or his superhero one– no point in keeping his identity hidden when he’s in SPACE and the mask isn’t even on. “What’s yours?”
A reassuring smile tugged the corner of the Pureblood’s mouth, and there was a nod. “It’s one more person helped— of course.”
Tymbios gingerly helped the younger to his feet, unsure of any injuries he had. He lingered near Peter in case he needed help standing. Luckily, he seemed fine enough. Not only would he need to call for back up, but he was also much taller than the Sith Lord.
He slowly started walking with the stranger among the wreckage of Titan. Poor planet nearly looked like Taris, but no vegetation. Merely utter destruction.
“Tymbios Styfall. I’m glad we found you, Peter,” He answered softly. “Do you know where you’re from? Coruscant? Alderaan? Once we’ve checked you for injuries and you’re taken care of, we’ll take you home.”
Unless Peter was an orphan. That would be Cisst’s specialty, then.

Peter had tried his best to hold onto hope. Even as everything started to look grim, even while on an unfamiliar planet fighting a giant purple alien– he held onto the thought that they would WIN in the end. They always do, right? Except, it goes much differently. The reality sinks in the moment he returns to find Mr. Stark on the ground, the team looking beat, and the time stone gone.
It gets even worse when an unsettling feeling of dread creeps up on him, and everyone starts to disappear, one by one.
He had found himself whipping his head back and forth, trying to make sense of it all as everyone fades to dust– he’d only managed to get words out when he saw Mr. Stark starting to go, panic seizing him as the ash surrounds him. And then everyone is GONE, and Peter is ALL ALONE. The kid afraid of losing people, left stranded on an unfamiliar planet, everyone around him disappearing, including his mentor.
He doesn’t know what to do. Entire body shaking violently, he falls to his knees, sudden tears stinging his eyes and cascading down his cheeks as he pulls his knees to his chest, left with only the barren remains of a desolated planet, and dust on the ground.
How long does he sit there? How long does it take for the tears to stop? ( he doesn’t want to admit it, but he’s a k i d, he flew to space, he watched everyone die, he’s left behind, he’s SCARED ). He has no idea. He also had no idea his suit had sent out a distress signal for him.
By the time he hears a voice nearby, he’s still on the ground, but more stunned than anything. In shock. The beginnings of a plan start to enter his mind– take the ship the Guardians flew here in, try to figure out how to fly it, but what if he just messes up even more? But that’s all pushed aside when his head whips up, and his eyes go wide upon seeing someone else.
“Distress signal? What distr– Oh. Oh, my suit, it must’ve–” He rambles at a low volume, taking another breath before continuing. “Yeah– yeah, it was…it was me. I…don’t know what to do.”
Tymbios took quiet, careful steps to Peter. Upon seeing the dust around the boy, the sith’s fears were confirmed, and he was still for a moment.
He gave a nod of understanding as the human talked. No one would know what to do, it was normal. His hilt went back onto his belt. “It’s alright to not know. Here, let me take you to my ship. My team and I will take care of you. I’ll inform them we’re on the way.”
He pressed a red button on his wrist-guard, a gruff voice soon picking up. “Tymbios, did you find anything?”
“I found who sent the signal, Commander. I’ll bring him to the ship.”
“Copy that, I’ll tell the rest to come back.”
The call ended, and Tymbios looked back to Peter, a reassuring smile forming as he reached his hand out. “It’ll take a little bit to get back. What’s your name?”

“Is it because of me? Am I not enough? ..Did I do something wrong?” (Ximena to Saren :Dc)
@darktclight
‘No-!’ Saren jumped, waving his hands frantically. ‘No, no, no! I-It’s not because of you, Ximena! I’m being absolutely truthful on that!’
The young Jedi’s heart pounded in his chest, and he almost shook. An abyss of dread was starting to form in his gut, and a pleading look took over his eyes. She thought he didn’t love her. She thought she was to blame. This was all his fault, wasn’t it?
‘It’s... I-It’s complicated...’ He worded carefully. ‘The... The Jedi Code... it forbids it. Romance should not happen with a Jedi, because emotions can cause bias, and then the bias to rage, then... the Jedi turns to the Dark Side. Ximena, I...’
Carefully, his shaking hands took the trooper’s, and he looked up at her in desperation. He wanted it, but... it was banned, wasn’t it?
‘...I want it. Desperately, I do... But...’ Tears budded in the younger’s eyes. It wasn’t fair! ‘I-I... I don’t know what to do-!’

“You die, I die.”
“I don’t think I can go home knowing I won’t see you around anymore.”

“I’m sorry I didn’t do much before. I would’ve taken you everywhere. I would’ve loved you right.”
“I wish you could’ve just broken my heart in the normal way. At least you’d be alive.”
“I’m telling the nurse I’m staying by your side tonight. I don’t care if it’s not allowed, I’ll fight them.”
“We’re running out of time.”
“Anything’s better than this. Than you, gone. What am I supposed to do without you, huh?”
“Listen to me, you are the most important person in my life. I’m sorry you’re going through this.”
“I don’t want you to see me like this…”
“If you must die, die knowing your life was my life’s best part.”

I still remember the first time I saw you…”
“Please don’t cry, please, I—”
“C’mon baby, don’t — don’t make this harder than it is.”
“Don’t cry with me, stupid. I thought this was mutual.”
“I can’t believe you’re breaking my heart like this.”
“We had a good run, didn’t we? We really loved each other, right?”
“IT’S OVER, DO YOU HEAR ME?! WE’RE DONE!”
“If you show your face around me the second time, I will kill you.”
“Who would’ve thought we’d ended up here. Hating each other.”
“We were… we were so in love.”
“It’s not even about the other person, it’s us okay? It’s us. We’re a problem.”
“I don’t wanna hurt you. Not more than this. I’m sorry.”
iv. miscommunication.
“You fucking ignored me. You didn’t even tell me why!”
“So now that you’re in deep shit, you suddenly remember me again? How convenient!”
“Fuck you! FUCK YOU! I NEEDED YOU! AND YOU WEREN’T THERE!”
“I don’t know why we stopped talking. I wish you would just tell me.”
“You won’t even look me in the eyes anymore.”
“Did I really hurt you that bad? I didn’t know.”
“You never said anything! Every time you’re angry or sad, you just kept it in!”
“I never knew what you were thinking.”
“I’m so tired of reaching out only to realise I’m grasping on thin air.”
“Why can’t we just talk like we used to?”
“Things were so easy back then.”
“You’re not the same person I knew.”
“…I still care about you, you know.”
“You just left. I didn’t why. I didn’t know what happened.”
“I wish things were different.”
“You’re giving me the cold shoulder again. How typical.”
“You know what you did wrong? You didn’t believe me.”
“I just wanted you to be there. I just wanted to know that I wasn’t alone. And you failed.”
“Look, can we… can we not talk about this now? Please?”
“I’ve been trying to talk to you, but it’s like I’M TALKING TO A BRICK WALL!”
v. betrayal / betrayed.
“I trusted you.”
“You trust me? Honey, that’s your fault.”
“You’re looking at me like I’m your biggest mistake. I already know I am.”
“You fucking manipulated me. You made me believe you.”
“So all those times we spent together? That was, what, for show?”
“I thought… I thought we were friends.”
“I thought we had something special.”
“You were like a brother to me!”
“I never really had anybody before. But then you came. I shouldn’t have known even you would screw me over.”
“SCREW YOU! DON’T EVER SHOW YOUR FACE TO ME AGAIN!”
“You’re not even moving. You’re THAT shocked that I did this to you? You must’ve really trusted me.”
“I — I didn’t want to. But I had to.”
“It wasn’t easy, you know? I… I really liked you.”
“Oh, stop playing victim. You had this coming.”
“You’ve always treated me like shit! And now you’re surprised I would do this to you?!”
“It wasn’t all fake, what we had. You were just not my endgame.”
“I can’t believe I shared my food with you. Turned out, you’re just a scheming scumbag, like the rest of them!”
“It’s my fault. I put my faith in you. They warned me not to.”
“Believe you? Yeah. The last time I did went SO well.”
“I’d rather walk into an ongoing traffic than to trust you again.”
“I let you into my life and you did this…? I should’ve known.”
“Please tell me this isn’t true. You wouldn’t do this to me, would you? Would you?”
vi. misc scenarios.
[Text] I hate you.
[Text] I keep calling you hoping you’d pick up. Or text you, hoping you’d reply. But I know you won’t.
[Text] I’ve still got your stuff. What should I do about it?
[Text] I wish I could say I hate you, but we both know I’m lying.
[Text] I don’t wanna fight, I wanna see you.
[Text] I know we’re not talking, but I miss you.
[Text] Dumbass. I’ve always loved you. Leaving you was the hardest thing I ever did.
[Text] I wish it didn’t end the way it did.
[Text] I’ll always have your back. Even after everything, okay? Always.

Aukuna’s expression shifted from reassuring to worry, giving a slow sigh as he settled himself next to the smaller. He allowed some quiet for a moment before he spoke up to respond to his younger brother’s words.
“Just because I am bigger than most, does not mean that I do not fear.” He starts, looking over at Saren “..There are many times I have been afraid. Many a time I have felt the fear take hold of my hearts. ..Sometimes, that fear even wins”
Aukuna followed his gaze to the sky, admiring it’s unique beauty and giving Saren a moment to collect himself. When he looked back, Aukuna shook his head.
“No one ever said what I do was easy, besides.. There are some emotions I have failed to put away. I.. I don’t even know if i can still really call myself a true jedi.” He paused, turning his attention back around “..Brother, being angry at yourself isn’t going to help any either. There is no chaos, there is harmony. You need to find peace with yourself.”
‘It certainly plays a factor. They become more afraid of you than you are of them,’ Sarentyl pointed out. His head plopped into his hand, looking at the ground as he listened. ‘At least those fears were logical.’
Saren mulled it over, a small, cracked hum from him. It was true-- Jedi weren’t supposed to be in relationships, but Aukuna fell in love with Cisst anyway.
‘...I suppose love isn’t easy, either,’ He concluded. He knew his hearts beat for a certain trooper, but it was hard for him. After all, they were friends, and he was a Jedi. Maybe he could do the right thing and not act.
‘You’re right, but... There is a fine line, I’ve seen, between inner peace and egotistical that is hard to master and balance.’

“There’s nothing wrong with being afraid” (Aukuna to Saren, ~darktclight :D)
@darktclight
Sarentyl looked up at his older brother, a quick exhale leaving him as he looked away. Somehow, he couldn’t help but be annoyed. Of course, Aukuna would say that to him after hiding.
...Of course, Sarentyl hid.
‘That’s easy for you to say, brother...’ He grumbled voicelessly. ‘Because you’re never afraid. Everything is smaller than you.’
He looked up at the sky before closing his eyes for a moment, a deep breath drawn from him. No, he shouldn’t get angry. Aukuna was trying to help him. He shouldn’t be mad about that or let anger blind him.
‘...The Code says “There is no emotion, there is peace.” You can easily allow yourself to put fear away, while it consumes me like power would to a Sith. What Jedi am I, letting fear blind me this much? You face your fears, yet I hide from my own shadow.’
