Discord was such a stroke of genius. Having John de Lancie come on and play a copyright-safe version of his character Q from Star Trek with all his powers intact as a two-parter villain was already insane. But bringing him back, reforming him and pairing him up with Fluttershy? Having her be the one who can bring him to heel time and time again, through her quiet no-nonsense demeanor? It's so amazing. It's so consistently good. Every time these two share a scene it's the best. Picard has nothing on Fluttershy.

Discord but hes literally every (Pyrrian) dragon (an Allwing) Surprised no one guessed my genius. I am so smart for this.
Mischief was driven mad centuries ago by his animus magic. He has a past no one remembers, maybe not even himself. His actions are confusing and sporadic, yet there is method to his chaos. While many dragons grow murderous in their animus driven insanity, Mischief’s chaos was always something to confuse rather than abuse. He does have his dangers though, which is why Ethereal skies turned him to stone. But things that confusing and powerful never remain encased for long.
