Explanations etc under the cut -

Gin has been with the Krieg Pirates for about 5 years. Neither were particularly interested in each other pre-Baratie. Krieg had his "Oh. Oh." moment when Gin kicked his ass and carried him away.

If he's not flat on his back snoring the ship down, Krieg will face Gin and will grab him, conscious or otherwise. There is no avoiding this.

Krieg calls Gin an affectionate/antagonistic nickname at least ten times a day. Gin accidentally called Krieg "baby" once and has been trying to forget it ever since.

Gin will level a whole fleet to show his captain he cares. Krieg will burst a blood vessel if he has to give Gin a sincere compliment.

They don't talk about their feelings for each other, like, ever. Krieg assumes Gin knows already. Gin, however, will dissolve into ugly crying if he thinks about love and romance too hard.

Krieg adores any attention, so public displays of affection are a tremendous ego boost. Gin would like to hold hands more than anything in the world. Neither can stomach the thought of doing this with each other.

Overprotective? Gin is loyal beyond all sense, logic and reason. Ride or die, baby! Meanwhile, Krieg begrudgingly accepts that Gin can take care of himself.

Krieg has always been super possessive and jealous. "If you're going to betray me, you're better off dead" or something to that effect. He is not trying very hard to get better at this lol.
