Fullbodies for the dragon guys! :3c I can't really come up with a long post description, other than saying I'm so happy to finally be able to share these <3

Some rambles under the cut~

For Enki, me and Leeni were done with his art for a while now. But I wanted to have both of them posted at the same time. Still, when I finished Silver I revised the piece to polish up any details I missed out. Leeni also got the idea to change the shape of his earfins slightly, so that's a small upgrade!

For Silver, god, he's such a pain (affectionate). What took the longest was figuring out his clothes. It was a careful balance of keeping it fancy but not too fancy, since this is supposed to be his "main clothes", or he's at least he's wearing them very often, so they had to be comfortable looking too. Initially I drew him with a more smug, cocky expression. But honestly it was way too attractive, so I had to tone him down

There had to be a lot of gold, of course. My favourite part was giving him those claw thingies on his hand~

So, Juno Montoya a.k.a. Vesper 🏹✨ a plain Jane Doe with absolutely nothing wrong going on with her nor her lineage, and who surely gets everything she wants in life!

Before getting sick, she manned the closing shift at The Grapevine, the family-run bar, and every month hunted in the forest to supply it with game, which is what she was mostly known for topside.

✦ In a less roundabout way, Juno is in her early thirties and stands 175 cm (5' 8") tall.

✦ Personality-wise, Juno is to be reckoned with, but also warm and approachable, and has become more reserved since the threat of sudden death began to loom over her head. She still is a witty tease (see: The Bit™), but overall has less enthusiasm and openness than usual.

✦ Twenty years ago, her father got sick with fractum anima and left for the marketplace too, leaving with nothing but a note apologizing for all their grief. She got her love for astronomy from him and left home similarly.

✦ Her "Ideal Partner" is like that because the man she was about to marry a few years ago (a seminarian of the Solar church) broke up with her to resume his studies, after five years of dating, over a letter. It is still a bit of a sore subject for her.

I commissioned @vaultureculture to get a couple of sprites of Juno done, and not only did they catch my vision just right, they elevated it.

The majority of the color scheme and the ribbing on the sleeves, for example, was her idea, and so was the chain and the combination of this mask, the skull of a deer, and some arabesque patterns to make Juno's mask (and also the concept of putting them along the edge of the cloak). Chef kiss, absolutely mad designing skills.

You'd never guess this woman was a barmaid every day of the week and a huntress twice a month, but she has no reason to bring her hunting gear along with her on this trip, to be fair, especially when she has clothes in better condition.

"Just a sip" , a comic idea that I have filed away under the "I no longer know when or if I'll ever finish it" category (Doesn't feel right to say "discarded" lmao) (who knows, maybe one day I pick it back up!).

I really love the thumbnails I managed to sketch out (especially that last panel at the third page!!!!!!! I want and need to make more of that), its been I think almost a year since I've made them though, and it just doesn't feel right just let them keep collecting dust after so long especially when I don't even know if the inspiration to complete it strikes again, so, here it is! Read more for further rambling into the details~

This is another "what if" comic where wanted to explore mainly:

1. Ocudeus and The Seaspring. And what could happen within someone's mind once they drink (Lukas is our text subject! Yay!)

2. "Interesting" paneling, or at least visually engaging compositions in pages (I love making comics!) There's so many things I want to practice and try out to make bring the movies in my head come to life in this format.

On to the "plot".

We start out with Lukas drinking from The Spring. Hypothetical-Timeline wise this would be happening at the "ending" of the TS story in which not a single cure is found for MCs curse. Last resort type of situation. This happens on pages 1, 2, and page "3". In this post the 3 image would actually be page 4, I just never sketches the 3rd (I just drew what was clearest in my head first). Imagine 3rd page having a shot of Ais staring at the process from a safe distance with a cig while Lukas is writhing on the floor losing his marbles after drinking (lol).

Now the fun part. Ocudeus. I imagined the process of joining the groupmind not happening instantly. I thought about Ocudeus himself manifesting in their new host's mind and sometimes striking conversation (which happens in isolation with just the two of them) (brain is not part of the primordial soup. Yet)

We don't know what Ocudeus looks like either! So I went crazy. At first I was just gonna make them take Ais' shape. But that felt, not quite right for an eldritch being. So instead, Ocudeus takes the form of whoever is drinking :) thus manifesting themselves as Lukas inside Lukas' mind.

There's a huge jump in events from Image 3 and 4 of the post. After Img 3 there's a lot of talking going on. Asking if the curse can really be cured. Ocudeus being a sassy smug menace cryptic about it and reminding Lukas that there is no going back anyways and that is no longer something Lukas should be concerned about. He will no longer be himself, so why worry.

After this its just a "Descent into true madness", see Img 4 for reference, where the "world" just really starts to warp around and eventually ends with Lukas getting "consumed" by the darkness of the giant octopus, his lasts thoughts as "Lukas" being those of relief of finally getting rid of the curse, and grief over leaving his life behind. Fun stuff.

Comic was supposed to end with Lukas jolting awake (His head was resting on Ais lap now).

After sitting up abruptly and wiping his tears away, with hands that now look properly human. Lukas turns to Ais and asks, with a gaze now as red as the seaspring near them.

"Why am I crying?"

Some other random things: I got inspired by the Honkai Star Rail promo video where Acheron and Black Swan dance together. The visuals and visualization of Black Swan's "being" being consumed by the endless void was SO good and when I realized this concept could work for the seaspring in a similar way I needed to get the idea out of my system.

Have an extra! Alternative version of my fav panel. Only difference is the eyes, this is the first version. Which I drew before Redspring revealed what Ais' eyes looked like when his cephalopod friend is driving the car.

Once the full game releases I will make a game out of counting how many changes I've done to Lukas since the first time I drew him.

Been dealing with school! Art hard. No draw. I can only offer more headshot sketches of Luki looking disgruntled. Being scuncht about it

MORE scar changes and a new haircut! Decided to steer a bit away from keeping the hair a single color. Still need to read more, its likely not as drastic, but something something "stress causing your hair to turn white/grey" felt pretty fitting for a "seasoned survivalist" which probably has a nervous system on permanent overtime basis. And sparrow vibes. I really really wanted more sparrow vibes

I loved the update! RIP Hound you will be missed but HONESTLYYYYY....... HONESTLY. Even though I was surprised and a lil bit sad the origin got repackaged, I really really love The Exile!!! That change plus the QnA reveal of the MC curse freaking PACIFYING Soulless on contact is SOMETHING. I need to know what they're cooking........ I'm so intrigued... gimme more.

OP made a post about Ais, said something like; He is never mad at you (so far in demo). He's so patient, never raises his voice, never tries to hurt you, or even hints that he might. Even when MC is clearly pissed and frustrated at Ais for giving lack of information to them- yet he only gave a little warning:

"Watch your tone. I'm nice, but you don't want to ruin the host's mood."

He doesn't pressure you to drink from the Spring nor does he yell or scold you abt how dangerous it is. He just explain the effects and reminds you of the consequences. Always tells you to take you time before deciding. All he gives you is a choice, it's completely up to you whether you drink it or not.

I'm at a weird spot where I miss the days I used to post regularly on socials (mainly instagram) but college has me exhausted and keeping quiet is so nice haha. Recently it feels like oversharing, or maybe its just knowing ppl irl could see my accounts (I've been encourged multiple times by my profs to share them) (a very logical thing to help us promote ourselves) but Damn Man I likely didn't process the shame I feel within myself as much as I thought LMAO (Shame of what exactly? I do not know. Likely just scared of being perceived or even worse, scared of the possibility of success *shudders*)

And also I just feel entitled to my inner worlds and keeping them strictly to myseld (read: fear of being known). I bounce back and forth between handling my presence online between "I want the world to know what I think!!! I speak!! Hello I am real and have a lot to say!" and "You know nothing about me and you will gaze upon my profile and my hermit tendencies like those obscure artists you know nothing about but still adore whenever they resurface to post"

Hey, I did not design this or Felix's last outfit, but it was sort of a group effort so I don't think there's any one specific person to ask permission from. I went looking for a clearer image for you but if there was one, it's gone now.

If you'd like to get a tattoo of it, follow your heart. I don't want to answer more LL asks because it's been so long since I worked on it and I've moved on, plus I don't want to speak for anyone else. But have one last piece of very old art for the road. Please consider it fanart and unofficial.

✦ Enki introduction bio ✦

If you checked Silver's bio, now its time to meet Enki~ He's not my creation. He belongs to my friend Leeni, everything related to him is her work, I'm just giving him a face.

Unlike Silver, who is a "pureblooded" mountain dragon, Enki is an hybrid between a sea serpent and a wyvern. He faces a lot of judgement from society for this reason, often being excluded and harassed. He's learned to get by on his own after escaping his home by misleading and alluring people.

Alongside that, Enki is a cheeky menace that loves to tease and push the buttons of people. Silver especially has become a recurrent victim of this. Unfortunately, Enki finds it extremely amusing to get on his nerves.

Life led Enki towards Silver's family, becoming his personal bodyguard to keep him safe. Which is bound to be complicated given the prideful nature of the young lord's personality.

As for elemental affinity, his connection to water -an element heavily related to emotions and the subconscious- allows him to feel other people's emotions by using physical contact. He can also project his own thoughts/voice inside other people's minds. This way of communication only goes one way, he cannot read minds.
