What started off as a "What if the warmth MC feels when they pass out after the Soulless cuts their arm off is actually Kuras' body warmth" transformed further into madness of the likes of "hh..g..g.gfng Kuras carrying MC across the wastes... Safe and sound in his embrace" and, here we are lmao.

I really enjoyed making this! Along with bullying Lukas and making him look miserable. It had been a while since I opened up the game to get reference material and to remember how the scenes went to get as "accurate" as posible.

I really really want to indulge my brainworms further and create more stuff like this, but it will take me some time

Maybe I'll even draw another idea I got which is Ais/Kuras/Lukas-related.

Haven't managed to pay attention to my personal projects these past weeks, but I just wanna share something. Current goal is finishing another "what if" comic in which I go bonkers trying to imagine what happens when Lukas drinks from the Seaspring :3c so here's some of the rough sketches (Very shyly showing these HSHSHG I hope they're still a good meal despite the messines)

Lukas ✦ The forsaken thief

"It would be in your best interest that the bandages stay on"

He'd prefer it if you kept your head on your shoulders, after all

Lukas, born cursed with a touch that twists the minds of people to horrendous states. Betrayed by the people he used to call friends, who stripped him of all his savings meant to be used in finding a cure, now keeps people at arm's length.

Yet, despite the hardship his life puts him through, there's still a faint longing in his eyes, with the hope that someday, things will take a turn for the better.

AYYYYY VIBI'S HERE WITH A NEW ADDITION TO THE OC FAMILY. Meet my new son, Lukas, the main character in the Touchstarved visual novel, with "The Hound"'s backstory.

School kept me busy yadda yadda but I finally got the time to draw him a proper bio/reference. AND to not leave the post so empty, I made some extras! I hope you enjoy them <3 - Bio template belongs to the Redspringstudio team. While I drew Lukas in my own style, I intentionally tried to color him in the official artstyle, purely for fun and practice!!

Does Lukas have any family members

Siblings, parents, or found family

Before the events in the demo he used to have a found family of sorts in the thief syndicate that raised him. At present, he's all on his own (until he meets the main cast, ofc) (For reference, I chose The Hound background as his origin)

This got quite lenghty so further details are under the cut lmao

Like the origin backstory states, he had a close bond with one specific member, around the same age as him, and grew up as childhood friends until the day where the syndicate stabbed him both metaphorically and literally in the back, taking his savings for a cure.

His actual family can be considered "dead" by now, this happened before the thief gang found him. I am still figuring out what happened to his parents, but so far its highly likely the poor living conditions in the world of Touchstarved slowly destroyed them (I assume its very likely a lot of the towns that are Not Eridia are close to collapsing) OR, Lukas cursed them on accident, forcing him to run away.

Due to the trauma and stress he does not remember those first few years at all, he has extremely vague memories and is aware he had parents to begin with (sometimes he wonders if he had siblings too but forgot them too) (p.s: no he doesn't have siblings), but other than that, to him, his life "started" when he joined the thieves!

I dug up an old sketch and touched it up a little to share it with ya'll, here's a visual of Lukas at the time he joined the syndicate

This diva right here is my main character OC for Touchstarved! :D I chose the Hound background for him. You can find all the stuff I posted related to him under my tag #touchstarved oc | Lukas, and you can find his bio here, although its *slightly* outdated now thanks to my bad habit of getting ideas later down the line that change the visuals, like the scar lmao. It's Ais' birthday today and the dev's caption on the post left me thinking about the surprise parties and thoughtful gestures ಥ⁠‿⁠ಥ 💖

• About Lukas and how he'll patch up his teammates' broken clothes in secret •

Back when he lived with the thief syndicate, it was not uncommon for the members to have their clothes scratched and torn up with small gaps, cuts and holes.

The clothes of his best friend needed mending, very often.

And the broken clothes often came along with injuries, deep knife cuts or slashes done by monster claws. Damages Lukas couldn't help with, in fear of accidentally touching them.

So he built up the habit of stitching and sewing. He would steal the broken and discarded clothes during the night and thoroughly patch them back together. If he felt patient enough he would try to embroider something on them to hide the stitches (The embroidery would look atrociously messy at best and he would give up and un-do everything at worst)

"These are... Lukas, you fixed them?"

"If I cannot tend to your wounds myself, I'll take care of you in other ways!"

With this knowledge in mind, Lukas hasn't sewed anything in a while.

Until he met Ais, of course.

The bastard was a magnet for trouble. And while he often came out of it barely un-scratched, Lukas noticed there was a particular piece of clothing Ais had thrown away in a bin, probably to get rid of later.

So he would probably take said clothes, sew them up, try his best to add new embroidered patterns on it, and then give it to Ais' as a surprise birthday gift (⁠ ⁠；⁠∀⁠；⁠)

Tl;Dr: Lukas is too scared to touch people on accident so that means he can't dress someone with bandages or clean up open wounds. Proceeds to learn how to sew so he can stitch his friend's clothes that get broken in accidents, attacks or fights as a way to "patch them up" indirectly.

Ais gets one of his clothes broken, Lukas patches it up :]

We're all waiting for the whole cast's flower reveals so here's why I chose dandelions as Lukas' flower.

Found a couple of different meanings for this one but the main three things dandelions mean in the language of flowers are hope, perseverance and transformation

I also saw a pretty cute blog post that talked about how dandelions also became a symbol for making wishes

What's Lukas' wish?

Being free of his curse, of course :)

Helloo! I downloaded the official template from Redspringstudio's socials :D!

I downloaded the .psd file and opened it on Clip Studio, which lets me use the layers in it in order to add the text + character sprite. Hope this helps <3
