So you wanna talk about #FakeNews? Take a look at this. Nestled in on the 3rd page of the “A” section in today’s @statesmanjournal, right amidst an article about Trump’s travel ban and an article about a Mexican man who may rightfully believe he was targeted by ICE agents is an advert for this fake ass “memory loss pill.” THIS is just another reason why people have such a hard time trusting the news. And yes, the advert is labeled as such, but in tiny print just above a huge bold headline that basically insinuates that researchers have found a way to reverse Alzheimer’s. 🙄 Maybe when we start demanding more out of those who keep us informed (like, maybe don’t put shady ass adverts next to legitimate articles), more people will actually tune in and develop a true understanding of the crap that’s ruining our country—including, but not limited to, a certain Cheeto-headed Troll doll.

Loving @ubisoft’s new #AssassinsCreedOrigins. It’s a smooth departure from a formula that had long gone stale, but with enough of a callback to what made the series good (i.e., Brotherhood and Black Flag) that it doesn’t feel like it’s roots were completely forgotten. I’m only 15 hours in, but I can easily say this is my favorite game in the franchise, and it definitely deserves to be in the conversation for game of the year.
