I was talking to my friend about people who say “same sex attracted homosexuals are bad” and I just remembered something interesting she said

So, she said “I’m not sure how I feel about that, you should probably ask someone trans about it”

And I said “it’s not the same because I’m not trans but when I was identifying as trans I was used to the idea I’ll end up dating a bi woman”

And she said “gay people date trans people a lot”

Note, I’m a lesbian, when I was transitioning I was identifying as a straight trans man. She knows I’m a lesbian. I’m sure she didn’t mean “a lesbian could have dated you”, as she’s a libfem, so clearly the women she thinks I could have dated would be a bi woman or a straight woman. And yet she said nothing about “straight people date trans people a lot”. Even in that one thing, when it makes no sense to mention gay people, she didn’t suggest that straight people could/should date outside of their sexuality, only gay people.
