I'm watching Dimension 20's Fantasy High, Season 1, and I already love some of the small details.

Adaine doesn't have great parents, and one of the ways this is shown is Adaine pointing out that her parents don't even know if she needs to take a bus to get to her new school, and they tell her to figure out how to get to school herself.

Then, when Riz Gukgak's mom is shown later, the DM (Brennan Lee Mulligan) makes sure to show that Riz's mom is a good mom, and one of the ways he shows this is by having Riz' mom ask her son "Are you all set to catch the bus?". She's super tired and plans to go to sleep, but she makes sure her son knows how to get to the bus and go to school first.

Riz is doing great. Senior year is in full swing, he's passing all his classes and has plenty of interesting cases to keep himself busy (and top up his savings).

Hes also made peace with the whole 'asexual' thing. His friends love him and he knows they're not going to abandon him for their partners. Except now he's in a crisis over it. He was pretty sure he'd worked this shit out. Mystery solved. Case closed.

It was all Fabians fault, the half elf was helping him with one of his investigations and the half elf had triggered the rogues current crisis. Discovering the pivotal clue they needed and presenting it to Riz with a flourish. The goblin didn't even recognise what the feeling was at first but worked it out soon enough. Clutching the critical document and staring at nothing in particular as one thought ran through his head and promptly flattened his own perception of self. Oh fuck, Fabian was HOT... and not just in the aesthetic 'yeah he's pretty' way.

It was bad. The rogue trying very hard to act normal the next few days and failing badly. He was blushing, stumbling over his own words and swore he kept seeing Baron staring at him out of his peripheral whenever he passed a reflective surface.
