“Your hand feels much better than my own.”
I got this prompt twice and will be posting two different versions because I have no self-control
“Your hand feels much better than my own.”
Betty’s breathless words made Jughead’s stomach flip. “Really?”
Her eyes closed as she threw her head back again, his fingertips dancing between her thighs. “Yes,” she gasped with a nod, smiling as she tilted her head towards him. “Yes-“ Her fingers found their way to his face, holding his cheek as a shiver raced through her. “God, Juggie, yes, keep going.”
He smiled to himself, leaning forward to kiss her, swallowing down the sweetest moans from her. “Betts.”
“Yes?” she gasped out.
After meeting her gaze, he wet his lips. “I love you,” he breathed, kissing her before she could respond.
They’d never admitted it to one another before and it definitely felt cheap to whisper it while she was on the cusp of coming undone, but he had loved her for so long, he had to say it.
Betty gingerly pushed him away, searching his face before clarifying. “You-“ She took a steadying breath. “You love me?”
He nodded, unable to speak around the nervousness gripping his throat. “I do,” he breathed.
A grin found its way to her lips before she pulled him in for a gentle kiss. “I love you, too,” she whispered against his lips.
Jughead’s heart leapt into his throat at her words; he kissed her again, his fingers moving with renewed fervour in an effort to make her feel as good as she made him feel.
the smut prompt list; feel free to send me one!

Jughead shaving/cleaning up when bughead gets together (if you're still taking prompts!)
Betty wakes to an empty bed, and the scent of coffee brewing.
At first, she simply savors the moment: the soft, rumpled sheets around her, the sunlight peeking in through the gap in the curtains, the pleasant ache in her thighs. Last night was only the second that they’ve spent together since reconnecting, and the first where they had the house completely to themselves, a set of circumstances which they’d been sure to take full advantage of.
After a lingering, full-body stretch, she slips out of bed and back into her underwear, tugging one of his clean t-shirts over her head before she steps out into the hallway.
Betty finds him in the bathroom, standing before the sink in just his boxers, rubbing shaving cream over his chin.
She leans one shoulder against the doorframe. “Morning.”
Jughead looks over his shoulder, eyes crinkling a little at the corners when he takes her in. “Hey. Good morning.”
“What are you doing?” she asks, and steps closer, winding her arms around his torso as she presses her cheek to the back of his neck. His skin is warm, and he relaxes into her embrace, tipping his head back slightly so it rests against hers.
“I am taking care of this for you,” he answers, brandishing a razor before the mirror.
She gives him one quick, firm squeeze around the middle before letting go, moving to stand beside him. “For me?”
Her heart beats a little bit faster. It wasn’t that she disliked Jughead’s new, adult facial hair. Not exactly. She just found it…unnecessary. An opinion she may have shared with Kevin while gossiping in the teachers’ lounge last week, which she now realizes Jughead may have overheard.
Jughead pauses, chin tilted, the razor hovering a few inches from his face. “Yeah. You said it was too scratchy.”
“Oh.” She had said that, last night after he’d gone down on her. Her fingers drift absently to her inner thigh. “You don’t have to do that just for me.”
“If you don’t want me to shave it, I can keep it,” he offers. “I don’t have strong feelings either way.”
“No no,” she says quickly. “You’re right. It’s scratchy.”
She watches as he wields the razor carefully in the mirror. It doesn’t take long; there wasn’t much there to begin with. When he’s finished he pats his face dry with a towel, and turns to face her with a grin.
“Well?”
Betty beams back, cupping his cheeks in her hands. “Very handsome.”
Jughead leans down to peck her on the lips. He slips his hands beneath her t-shirt, rucking it up past her waist. “But is it a close enough shave?”
Betty gasps as he drops to his knees, tugging her underwear down with him. Her fingers curl into his hair. His breath sends goosebumps trailing up her thigh.
“Guess there’s only one way to find out.”

Betty Cooper and the Elixir of Life - Part 20
Jughead’s not sure what to expect when he enters the Headmistress’s office, trailing after her steps. Uncertainty, worry, and anger mix together in a volatile way in the pit of his stomach. The first thing he notices as he steps into the room is Ethel’s bright red hair. It’s curled perfectly and she has it pushed back off her face with a headband. This simple thing bothers him beyond reason. He hates that she looks so utterly put together when she should be in disarray. This is all that he desires right now, her ruin.
He stands at the edge of the room, a few feet away from Professor Malfoy who has not taken his intense gaze off of Ethel. To her credit, Ethel seems completely unbothered by all of this.

Betty Cooper and the Elixir of Life - Part 19
It’s brisk in London today.
Jughead pulls his black peacoat tighter around his chest as he crosses the street. He’s almost right on time for his meeting slash interview at the Astronomical Society. Uncertain of what to call it, he decides to stick with meeting as that seems to involve less stress. While this job of Research Scientist may be exactly what he’s looking for, it’s not the end of the world if he doesn’t get it.
There will always be more jobs and opportunities.
He repeats this to himself as he pushes against the glass panel in the revolving door. His usually unruly hair is in disarray from the wind. Running a hand through it, he approaches the front desk, greeting the receptionist with a friendly smile.

EVERYONE GO READ THIS ART!!!
FINAL FULL LENGTH CHAPTER OF
WON’T YOU PROMISE ME, WE’LL KEEP DANCING
~
Outside, the rain continues. The sun hangs heavy in the sky, shrouded by the clouds that surround it, the city covered in darkness, ready for impending nightfall. Jughead’s eyes are tired and he feels the purple bruises under them darken and sink further into his skin. He leans back in his desk chair, running his hands across his face before looking back down at his unfinished manuscript. He sighs, looking at the fifteen pages he barely managed to get out, before standing up and shutting his laptop.
He draws back the window curtain to see the city’s darkness, arriving early due to the rain. He shuts his curtain and turns to walk out of his office/living area. He walks left to go down his hall and into the kitchen.
He’s pretty lucky. His apartment isn’t as shitty as what he thought he’d be living in at this age. He’d been in a shitty dorm in college but after his book sold, he’d bought this loft. It was sectioned off with tall shelves and storage cupboards that didn’t reach the ceiling. It was mostly grey but had enough colour that it didn’t look like he was a vampire, living in the dark eternally. It was big--big for a New York studio apartment--and it was all his. Jughead loves his apartment, his home. He’d gladly stay cooped up by himself, eating nothing but pizzas and burgers, increasingly growing outward and writing novels until the end of time.
He rounds his kitchen table and switches on his coffee machine, placing a mug underneath as it begins to pour inside. The soft, steady cadence of the dark liquid dripping into his ceramic mug mixes in with the gentle stream of rain that patters against his roof.
He closes his eyes, feeling the calming sounds lull him into a sense of peace, time stopping for a short moment before the world starts up again.
Suddenly and abruptly, there are a series of knocks on the door.
The coffee machine switches off, dinging in alert that the coffee is ready.
Dinging in alert that what he’s been waiting for is finally here.

Teaser:
Betty had just finished drying her hair, thankful to finally have a shower clean up after the last 24 hours. She threw on some black lingerie and was checking herself out in the floor length mirror at the corner of her room, wondering if this would be something Jughead would like to see her in some day.
She had bought it on a whim and never bothered to wear it for Trevor. He didn’t really care about anything sexy like this. He was more into her white lace frilly outfits than her darker aesthetic.
She slipped a short red dress on over the lingerie that had also been tucked away in her closet, waiting for a chance to come out and play and smiled.
She looked good.
Great, actually.
Betty smoothed down the dress and continued to fantasize about Jughead seeing her like this, properly dressed up and enticing him with her curves. A far cry from the book smart girl he met and more like the woman she was blossoming into.
The ringing of her phone brought her back to reality from her thoughts and she snatched it from her purse, excited to see it was Jughead. She had called him when she got home but figured since she got his voicemail that he was still busy.
“Hi!” She chirped, a smile on her face already.
“Betty!” Jughead shouted through the earpiece and Betty had to pull the phone away from her head, wincing at the loud music coursing through it. “I need a favor!”
Betty sat down on her bed, the dress riding up her thighs and her smile faltered. “Are you alright?”
“Yeah! Look, I don’t have time to explain. Can you call up the dancers and see if they can come in?” She could hear static that sounded like Jughead was trying to cover the phone with his hand while he yelled at someone in the bar. “Fangs! You alright? Get over here!”
“Are you sure everything is okay? It sounds crazy over there! I can come in -”
Jughead cut her off. “No! I do not want you to come here, do you understand? Just see if the girls can come in.” There was a loud crash in the background. “You were right, they help distract these guys and I need someone on the stage.”
Betty started to argue again but Jughead insisted. “I’m serious, stay home.”
