top 5 productivity apps (2024 edition)
Hi! As a uni student, I've experimented with a lot of different productivity tools, and I wanted to share my current favorites.
Llama Life - I have the premium subscription, and it is very worth it imo. Love the visual timer and helps me easily block out my time. The customizable emojis and color scheme make the app really fun to use!
Obsidian - I use the "Open the daily note" button almost everyday. I like the idea of having my files saved offline, and the appearance is pretty sleek. I use the Minimal theme, which is very customizable.
Notion - It's popular for a reason. My Notion is honestly not that pretty, but I love how you can switch between different views. I switch between the table and calendar views usually and filter out my completed assignments.
TickTick - My favorite to-do list app. I used to use Todoist, but I prefer the interface of TickTick better. Tbh I didn't think I would need an app just for my todo's, but I realized I needed a separate place to store miscellaneous tasks that I can refer to later.
Google Calendar - It's another classic, and my calendar is definitely not as aesthetic as other people's. I love how you can make different calendars and set events as repeatable.
Hope you found these recs helpful! -Lainie

poem practice: too tired to be a star
I stand on a sparkling ladder and reach for the stars, They twinkle in the distance and I Climb Climb, My legs shake, Bruises mysteriously forming on my knees, The twinkling lights blur, My hands are hidden by yellow fog, I reach above me, Grasping at the brightest light, The stars are too far and I am tired today, So I rest.

06-23
lost track of time lol
12:35 am
12:30-1 brush teeth, shower
1-1:30 dry hair
1:30-2 put clothes away and sort laundry
2-2:30 leetcode skim, lol i give up i skimmed going to bed at 2
2:30 2:05 sleep
get up by 9:15 am, sleep calculator time -> 1am or 2:30am, i really need to shower so tbh 2:30 is more doable

fav k-pop songs released december (accidentally sm edition)
Candy - NCT Dream
Cute, bubbly, with a dash of nct swag, Candy is a catchy hit that gives me nostalgia for a song i didn't even listen to as a child. 9/10
2. Chase - Minho
I wasn't sure what to expect from Minho's first solo album, but I was definitely not disappointed. Smooth in delivery with a catchy piano motif in the background, the "running, running, run" has been constantly stuck in my head. 8.5/10
3. Beautiful Christmas - aespa, Red Velvet
I was so excited for this collab between two of my favorite girl groups, and this fun Christmas song was a delight. The chorus is surprisingly catchy and the music video is so cute and sweet. 7/10
