Eva came along to her first #pride today! Even though she wasn't in her working kit and instead a fetching (pun totally intended) #pinkhoodie from #americanapparel , she did a fantastic #alert when my #bloodsugar went up to 12.4. So today was the #chinbrookdogshow , now we #love this event because it was where we #fundraised to get Eva in the first place! However she wasn't there to #work this time - we were there as #civilians . Eva is very good at getting awards in their #prettiestprincess #class and this year came #4th out of 39! As usual she got some goodies for #placing , but we also did #somethingnew - a #dogphotoshoot all by herself! No #sharingthespotlight this time. Just got my first #minimed640g #haul through the post, my #insulin I still get through my normal #pharmacy , but this more #specialist stuff has to be sent directly to me. The #NHS still pays for it, it's just a little perk getting your #medtronicmio , #medtronicinfusionset and #energizerbatteries through the mail like a #queen 👸🏻. So it seems for now while the #weather in the #uk is pretty #hot I'm going to be living in #yogapants , but not ANY yoga pants, some have this magical little #pocket just above your #bum and do you even understand how perfectly my #minimed640g fits in it? It means I don't have to wear heavier trousers like #jeans just so I have pockets to put my #pump into that make me boil, PLUS the pocket is at the right height above my bum than when I sit down I don't squash the pump itself. #winner in regards to hiding the #tubing I don't really care about that, most people just think it's headphones or something, and as for hiding the #cannula I don't care about that either, partially because at the moment I've got a cute #pink one but also I am certainly not going to stop wearing #croptops just because of my current form of #insulintherapy #diabetes #pumplife

People that know us personally will know the trouble we have had getting our #kennelclubgoodcitizendogscheme #certificates , we had an awful time with #Hextabledogtraining who made us pay for round after round of training with them but kept saying "oh the examiner is coming next week!" but they never did 😒. So after they had well over £100 off us with no results we moved on to go a different path. We knew Eva was more than ready for the #bronze test, but we just needed someone with the right #qualifications to help. Thankfully #olantighdogtraining swooped in to save the day! Finally we can say Eva has her first certificate, and they are very confident she can get her #silver very soon as she can do it all - we've just been waiting to get our paper to prove it! #goldonthehorizon #thankyousomuch #superheroes #kennelclub #diabeticalertdogintraining

Did you know Eva has a MASSIVE #crush on Scooby? They even managed to #sneak in a little #kiss yesterday while they were on duty! 🙈 Scooby is also Eva's #hero because he has finished all his #training and is a #fullyqualified #HypoHounds #diabeticalertdog , Eva still has lots more training to go but one day she'll be just like Scooby and loose her #lplates ! ❤️ (at Staplehurst, Kent, United Kingdom)
