Fave Webcomic Appreciation Post:
It's like they've said, show the artist some LOVE!
These were great motivation, inspiration and dear to my heart for when things seem rough for an art student like me.
So these are 3 of my favorite webcomics that had totally won over my heart and laughter.
1. Blue Chair by Shen/Shenanigans
Blue Chair is consists of wonderfully drawn stories from either the artist Shen or from how he portrays life as a muscly annoying dude.
What's fun about it?
Its honest, funny and LIFE do feels like a jock that's ready to plummet you on a nearby locker like the highschool bully that it is.
It has the uncanny ability to be relatable in just a few panels and is also very engaging to its fans.
Warning: The Artist behind this has a deeper voice than you would've imagine.
(Disclaimer: I love that)
2. My Giant Nerd Boyfriend by Fishball
Meet Fishball and her weirdly endearing tall boyfriend!
FB tells her life story of having short problems, real question of self worth in terms of love when they weren't together yet, and of course having to endure on a menacing over-stretched Picachu Tshirt worn by none other than her boyfriend.
They are such couple goals and easily provides the humor that can effectively tickle my funny bone. But they also definitely show the real side in being in a relationship that will make you easily relate to Fishball or her Boyfriend. Quite the trouble added once they adopted a dog in the middle of it and is just another endearing addition to their little family.
So overall, one of my favorite couple amazing sense of humor on the short jokes and just the overall love that they both feel to each other.
and lastly,
3. Saphie: The One Eyed Cat by Joho
I can never really call myself as a BIG animal lover, but that doesn’t stop me from watching tons of cat videos doing cute things at Youtube at the late nights until I fall asleep. BUT putting that in a webcomic?
SIGN ME UP!!!
The webcomic is about the creator living with their family of 3 cats turned 4 at the middle of the comic. Hijinks ensued as Saphie, a one eyed cat, with her brothers do outrageous things as the story introduces how each cat is different from the others that you can somehow relate to.
I personally relate to Saphie in a big level as she’s the second oldest cat but can be so silly and hungry at the same time. And also has that wanting of messing with her brothers that either woks so well or backfires on her so bad.
I love each cat and their backstories on how they got to Joho, and applauding how she has made each story just so wonderful as she base it on her real cats and to turn them in to such a good comic reliefs.
