When and from where did this notion of 'Pure Pristine Madonna' Galadriel originate really?
The Fellowship senses her intrusion, albeit not fueled by malice, into their minds. Boromir is wary of her. Aragorn is familiar with her enough to trust her as an ally and respect her both for her wisdom as well as for her link to Arwen but even he wouldn't have guessed what went on in the recesses of her mind.
She is no Caradhras who actively tries to obstruct their path; neither does she offer the escapism and comfort that Tom Bombadil and Goldberry do. Galadriel heralds the inevitable hard choice that must be made both by the Fellowship and herself. The choice between what one desires ardently and the action that needs to be performed for the greater good. Hell, even her act of gifting three strands of her hair to Gimli can be interpreted, along with sincere generosity on her part, as one final fuck you to Fëanor. Ages came by and went. But she held on to her grudges. That's both petty and glorious of her.
Annette Crosbie's Galadriel appeared all sunshine and rosy but even her seemingly cheerful demeanour, when contrasted against the circumstances the protagonists are up against, can have an eerieness to it.

Then we have Cate Blanchett's Galadriel who was more enigmatic, majestic and, yet, had a somewhat sinister air to her. The protagonists are lucky she is on their side and this is not someone you would want for an enemy.

Morfydd's Galadriel is consistent with the other incarnations in the sense that ruthlessness and compassion coexist within her. It would be so fascinating to see her tap further into her darker urges and be entangled in a constant flirtation with them throughout the show. Warrior. Leader. Sorceress. Eldritch terror in making. Her character is a mithril mine and needs to be at the front, right and centre of the plot in future for she is the protagonist here.

sorry that you think my fictional ship is illegal. I actually consulted a fictional lawyer about it and he had a talk with a fictional cop about the fictional laws and then they both looked at me, and very seriously said "we'll allow it because it's hot."

ok last epic the musical thought of the day i promise but when poseidon calls odysseus a monster it's so fucking satisfying because of the Character Arc but also so heartbreaking because telemachus sings "if i fight those monsters, is it you i'll find?"
