I'm sorry but what kind of vapid empty hole of anything artistic or interesting are music biopics? ooooh this guys trying to make it in the music biz but he's not getting much of anywhere, oh he caught the attention of a record executive! oh but his new label wants him to do something unoriginal and the career stagnates, oh now the actor is doing lame karaoke of the artist's beloved repertoire! remember this one? how about this one???? oh he's climbing to success! but then just then, a controversy! the backlash! but he stays true to his art (these movies are always abt men btw) oh now he's reaching a new peak of success but uhoh! behind the curtain he has personal troubles!!

i don't trust people who have a map of the earth on their wall. what are they plotting?

thinking about how lucy is portrayed as mean for pulling the football away time and time again but if i were a kid and another kid were barreling toward me from 50 yards (excessive) to full force kick a football that I'm holding in place with my hand, I am not going to trust this child's motor skills to kick the football with the accuracy of a professional kicker, and i am 1) going to pull my hand away reflexively and 2) will not leave the football in place for this other kid to trip over at top speed. futhermore, if charlie brown can't maintain his balance after not kicking a football going so far as to have the inertia from his kick carry him three times his height into the air doing a backwards somersault in the process, he was bound to fracture both his own foot and Lucy's hand at best with the football held there and still probably fall on his back. this isn't an issue of lucy's malice but an issue with charlie brown's refusal to practice fundamental technique and form which poses a risk to himself and his friends. lucy was innocent and offered time and time again to give charlie brown another chance but he went at the ball like a reckless menace, learning nothing.
