"Here, we can get those in just a second. Legs not achin' too bad, are they?" Sora asked as a concerned look washes over his expression.
He didn't hesitate in offering Jessica a hand to get her back up.
"The ice on this street is lookin' worse than all the others."

“Don’t let them get to you, Sora. Chocolate is marvelous!”
Why he certainly couldn't agree more!
Chocolate in itself was a treat from the divine. There simply was no better way to describe that magical brand of sweetness. How it danced across the taste buds, purging away bad moods and allowing the soul to elevate to its best form! Those eyes of the keybearer found a firm solidarity brimming with Elsa at such words.
"To think a partner in crime, someone who knows about the finer things would be here all this time! Y'know? This calls for a lil toast if I say so myself! Now just where is--" After a good smidgen or two in diving into the depths of his magical inventory space. (One he desperately needs to organize mind you), two fresh bars of packaged chocolate would be unveiled. He was already handing the royal her respective share.
"So! How about a lil chocolate-y toast then? To sweep away the naysayers and to swing in the sweeter days."

"!! Uh- now I didn't mean that!" Or did he? No more certainly not! An adventurer's heart would always enjoy finding a new land to traverse through. It's clear that his sensibilities just weren't attuned to things being so-- simple.
The sort he came to miss.
This being's wisdom and likely way longer years would come to light as they spoke. Sora could discern how they were comfortable not only in tone, but just taking this bit of the situation in stride. From learning their role and in a magical way, practically seeing through him with those cat like eyes.
In the end, Sora couldn't resist giving an appreciative bow of his form at their acceptance. "Thank you. To be honest, it always felt like a small priority, to just know if those that can tell of the beyond are fine with those things."
"Can't get any acceptance goin' with a bit of shared respect I say. --That, and I might've stumbled on other cases where things were a lil more secretive, ehe." Koven's permission would be soon taken in stride as he advances, giving an idle stretch of the arms before crossing them routinely behind his head.
"Speaking of, just what is this place anyways?"
Koven tilted his head as Sora spoke, humming softly in thought. The other worlder did have a point. For someone to come from a place beyond, why would he be accepted so quickly? A good thought to have indeed.
One that caused the little cat to chuckle. Not out of malice or anything, but slight amusement. Clearly, he had not encountered a familiar before. Or, maybe he had, and wasn't aware of it, or they were different compared to where he came from. He had no room to say.
"Would you prefer that I do not let you in then?"
"You are not dangerous, child. There are many things I can see and sense - and you are one of good. As protector of this town, it's my duty to watch over it and all within. And I had no reason to do that from you," Koven said. "So you may enter. Stay for as long as you wish."

He allows himself the honor of watching with a more contemplative fascination. It wasn't solely in her words, but the measure of those actions, as if perfectly visualizing the limitation of a single view towards the wider tapestry. In many ways, Sora found himself feeling oddly nostalgic about that measure of ignorance.
Less of wanting to accept such an angle, rather, how those comforts and the challenge of re-contextualizing could be pretty hefty.
Now if only more people could be less of a jackass about that!
Neff's words prompted a smile, that good natured catch making him shake his head immediately. "Now why would I have an issue if you have plenty to share? From how I always saw it, those types have a lot to teach." The keybearer adds in, pointing upward with a dramatized finger.
This time, it'd be his steps that position him practically hip to hip with the goddess. Those cerulean hues would peer with intent across the horizon, drinking it all in with a fascination that only grew stronger with time.
"Were you always this brave? I have to admit that even for me, it took a while before I could come to agree with that." Soon, Nefeloma's graceful frame of hair, to the pristine note of their face, it was all being studied intently as he was curious on her thoughts.
"Admittedly, I had some more challenging grounds before I really got to see just how much is out there."

It was as honest as he could put it. For between each partitioned time space was a barrier of light, part of a cosmic and colossal framework to let these bygone universes develop in their own terms.
At least, this is what Sora learned used to be the case.
Watching as that nimble hop leveled them both to the same ground, it'd be that introduction that both stirs confusion and a sense of mystique. For a moment, the keybearer's eyes found themselves peering to the aforementioned town ahead. Questions nipped at the forefront of his mind, but it felt as if this whole matter was a touch too simplistic.
"And-- It's just okay for me to be here? Just like that?" A tinge of Sora's doubts always lingered when this topic comes to light. Similar to when he found himself before the firm and mighty disposition of Atlantica's king, when that gilded knowledge meant there was a balance to respect.
"Not that I intend to kick a gift horse in the mouth here, but shouldn't there be any concerns that I'd be a danger?" Strange how a bit of knowledge could alter the climate of interactions entirely. Maybe it was merely Sora understanding a potential sense of duty.
Koven watched as the one below tried to pinpoint where he was. An amused chuckle rang from the feline's throat, though despite that, the human soon found where he was.
One that wasn't surprised by his talking. Interesting. Most had some sort of a reaction, good or bad. Yet, he acted as though this was normal for him. And perhaps it was.
"You'd be surprised how many things and creatures come here from beyond."
Though, most often they were supernatural ones. And often meant harm.
"Someone from the stars, however, is new."
The cat stood up, before he jumped from the branch, landing on the ground in front of Sora. It would save the traveler the need from having to look up while they spoke.
"All the same, my name is Koven. Welcome to the town just beyond this point."

It felt as if his heart was making a meteoric collision into his stomach. There's a confirmation within that innocent gaze, a tale as old as time, well beyond their own.
Yusuke has experienced loss unparalled.
A time where their shared faith hadn't been enough to see matters through. What thrummed within his mind was a near to tear forth many, many questions, all for a bravehearted Spirit Detective who was not lost within reality. For now, Sora could only hope that his face didn't give away the forlorn tumult that spiraled within his being. In truth? Sora honestly felt like he could be brought to tears.
Those familiar faces, what might've been their final moments, kindness of Yusuke's hometown and his companions that marched from all walks of life. Did they have no chance while he's the only one--
Stop, stop, Sora stop.
No longer are you the soul who simply had to lament the fallen. Damn it all, there was a chance for more. That timeless force of nature would love nothing more than for them to shatter, as if the very shadows levied by overhangs and alley walls were watching.
It all begins with this name.
"Yusuke Urameshi. One of the bravest men I ever known." A once staggered tone found itself growing tempered with warmth. Even now, there was a duty both as keybearer and friend that had to be made. This much as owed, as it was to each and every of the billions of Hearts that momentarily lost the most insidious clutches yet.
For a moment he steps away from the opposing end of the store window, bringing himself towards the stone railing that led to the lower levels.
So this is how Leon felt once upon a time.
"Where you're at, it's a World made by mythical means. A place to catch those with one more net from worlds lost."
He turns, melancholic firmness strong in his expression.
"This is Traverse Town, a new beginning for those who no longer have a home to return to."
The voice of this boy who approached him, it sounds soo CASUAL and he spoke of things that were not familiar to him in the slightest. Spirit World? What?! Yusuke’s confusion appears apparent over his face with a raised brow and his head slightly cocked towards the side.
━━ ❝ 𝐈 𝐝𝐨𝐧'𝐭- ❞ For the life of him his mind tried so hard to make sense of the things he spoke, but he couldn’t make heads or tails of anything. He’s forgotten of the misadventures he’s had with the keybearer before him, the laughs they both shared both in Ningenkai and the surface of Reikai. All of that was wiped clean from his mind because of a malevolent force that shrouded his entire world into darkness.
“I don’t..understand what you’re talking about. But..I have a feeling that you know me..what’s my name?? I’ve been lost ever since I got here…wherever HERE is.”

𝐖𝐇𝐀𝐓 𝐀𝐑𝐄 𝐘𝐎𝐔, 𝐈𝐍 𝐘𝐎𝐔𝐑 𝐏𝐔𝐑𝐄𝐒𝐓 𝐅𝐎𝐑𝐌?
Water
how versatile. you will bend and conform and change for others. who are you, you wonder? a hurricane, a pond, a raging sea, warm rain, all in one. you are everything. your emotions will boil and ice and steam, but you will remain unchanged. you will always remain like this—unless, of course, you choose to make a change.
"There's a different me that's required for each situation. To understand that, is to better understand the best self that sleeps in your deepest parts." What he feels in awareness almost feels ethereal in nature.
To know in the Heart and not in the Mind was always too bizarre for words.
"I intend to keep true." For there would be no lies in exchange for information or new insight. He merely intends to be Sora.

"Oh, not at all! --Uh?" Wait a second.
Where was that voice coming from? The clarity was distinct enough to have him believe that someone faced him. So to be met with nothing but distance of a town ahead, alongside what looks like a floral wonderland briefly stirs his confusion. It would be short lived once a more pivotal secret (to the unknowing) brings itself to light. Such a fact was effective enough to leave him startled.
Switching from his state of blending in provided a stark difference in his behavior. Almost as if they were being perceived by an unseen eye, soon enough, attention finds itself fully committed to the cat that held their perch. Settled within the keybearer's eyes were a mixture of whimsy and the prideful weight of experience.
The fact he's just adjusted to a talking feline should further cement that conformation. This was part of his normal.
"Such arrivals aren't unfamiliar in these parts?" An unconscious thought of some residual fragment prompted him to swipe at his shoulder. As comforting as a lack of pretenses should be, it succeeds in making this confrontation hold weight.
"I have come from a long ways away. The Stars."
@valorxdrive
Yellow eyes observed the boy from his perch in the tree. This young lad wasn't from around here. Being a creature of ghostly origins and a familiar, the dark-furred feline was in tune with a lot of things spiritually. And he had the marks of someone not from the humble town he watched over and protected.
"You're not from these parts, are you?" the familiar inquired, black tail swaying as it hung down from the branch he was on. "This Realm more like."

Luck thankfully found itself on Yusuke's side.
Or-- would it be a lack thereof? From Sora's end?
Sora found himself frozen as the town of eternal night frolicked with possibilities and melancholy. Stunned as that signature was undeniable in it's certainty, it's fragility. His mouth found itself going faintly agape as a figure managed to tear a more prominent shard of his attention. It led to a mindless advance as a harrowing thought pirouettes within his mind.
What does it mean for Yusuke to be here? In a land that once signified the demise of his own side of the stars? An anxious itch agitates his throat, yet the pace refuses to relent despite a couple of refugees giving the keybearer a greeting. It was strange to see that warrior locked with such a scale of concern.
Yusuke would find a hopefully familiar figure stepping up to him.
"T-- There's no way." Another figure would find themselves reflected upon a clothing store window. For now, a desperate hand of the mind found itself keeping those worrisome thoughts obstructed.
"How did you manage to find your way here? Did the Spirit World have a link--?" Reasons were now a thread of hope to reach for.
Traverse Town..a place he’s not even familiar with..however, once he looked at his reflection from the store’s window he was even more perplexed. The person staring right back at him was a stranger. ❝ 𝐈𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭..𝐦𝐞? ❞ He asked softly, a hand gently touching his cheek. “If this is me..then..where am I?” The store was currently closed but the streets were bustling with activity..he’s wondering if walking into the crowd would lead him to someone that knows his face.

❝ i want to fight. i can help. ❞ (Thunder!)
"Well--!" There's a pause, his neck craning sharply in order to avoid a set of darkness glazed claws from making their mark. Even with the too close for comfort proximity, that collected state of his mind shimmers with hope. A few apt jumps are made as he tallies up some distance, corral-ing the opposition in to a more funneled proximity.
Drawing in a breath, his memories briefly reflect upon the wonder and fear of strong winds that dance along the sea. Making waves rile and whip, this would be the catalyst for an emerald aura to spark around his hand. Soon, the Heartless weren't in a position of making their charge. It'd be levels of gale that tossed them off their feet, funneling them towards Sora. Spiraling lashes of wind would become visible in the air, howls of nature's wrath solidifying that he got the bundle locked into place, high up, locked and off of their feet.
Aerora.
Allowing that incantation to be firm within his mind allows magic to dance. Expectation billows within the keybearer's gaze as he turns attention towards Thunder.
"Orderrrrr up! We're gonna need something party sized for these bozos!"

"If you would've told me that one day that even sleep can whisk you to worlds, the hidden places that's in the cracks out there? I thought you would've been off your rocker."
"But now? It feels like some good rest could possibly connect us to what's been hiding away all along."
Part of him can't help but find it odd. Was it a coincidence that one of his favorite hobbies turned out to be a lead all the same?

Nothing still beats the aura of Sora stepping up to entirely unknown entities to me.
Lingering Will themselves being a notch higher for me, mainly cause revenant ghost knights are so damn metal as a concept. It's also in that uncanny realm of asking how much more is there to the keyblade.
This was the type of stuff that had me amped of having the modern cast meet the ancient days. (Moreso a concept in my head now. Figured it would've been a lot more spirit/soul oriented.)
