"Force of habit. Have to be quiet." Anika replied quietly, shrugging as she watched him sit down. Her throat was red and her head ached slightly, but she was used to far worse. Her violet eyes flickered as she held out a bottle of water to him as a sort of peace offering.

"Drink this." The brunette was smaller than he was, yet she showed no signs of fear or even uneasiness. She just seemed to treat him as a person, not an object.

THERE'S A SHARP STARE IN HIS EYES, hand gripping her neck and pinning her against the wall with a thud. It was never a good idea to sneak up on one of the soldiers, especially when they were still orienting themselves to where they were after coming out of cryo. It wasn't her fault, to be fair, but that glare still stared daggers into her for a moment before sighing and releasing his grip on her throat.

"You shouldn't sneak up on me like that." His voice is gruff, still hoarse from the long time being in storage. His hand grips into a fist before moving to sit down. Why was it so hard coming out of cryo this time around?
