Yesterday night before going to sleep I was thinking about kpop and how weird it is. These agencies like YG, SM, JYP have their staff pace around schools to collect good-looking kids like pokemons. The weird thing in kpop culture is selecting a beautiful kid and then working them like crazy. Most of the hated idols just look good, they get hate because they can barely sing like a professional or dance like one. Their stans go after haters saying 'you don't know how hard they worked, how many years they were brutally trained' which brings me back to first point if only agencies were focusing on talented kids and not only good-looking ones maybe their life wouldn't be so hard while they train because they are already born with some of it. Don't get me wrong training isn't any easier for people who is talented either however I bet they won't get hate from certain fans who want their idol to do minimum shit.
