attention my fellow tv series enjoyers
if you like fanfiction, my chemical romance, heartbreak high (2022), comedy and/or gay people then PLEASE watch n00b (2024) on Netflix AU (even if you have to use a vpn sfjdhgksjdkh)
It's a vERY underrated miniseries set in 2005 in which a high school dude gets outed for writing gay fanfiction, and drama ensues. There are a lot of funny moments and some genuinely touching ones, too.
Hopefully this post makes it out of the void :P

Can we still make and post Rise content until then? YES! As long as we flood the internet with as many posts as possible on August 16 and 17. Make sure to stockpile and then release all your posts into the wild!
What else can I do that would help Rise’s chances? Stream the movie and the show on those two days. Having the viewership suddenly increase on Paramount and Netflix would also greatly increase its chances! ALSO! Like and support as much Rise content/posts on that day! Every little bit counts! OK, post-finale? I GET IT NOWWWWWW. IT ALL MAKES SENSE. I was on the right track, but the wrong bus...
Wait a second... "PUNISH AGATHA"?
Major spoilers for Agatha All Along episode 5!
...
THE TRIAL IN EPISODE 5 WAS A VISION FROM SALEM'S 7 AND THESE ARE MY REASONS!!!
:P
Okay... first of all, the point of the "trial" was apparently to PUNISH AGATHA. That's our first clue. Why do Salem's Seven exist? To punish Agatha for killing their parents, of course!
Let's retrace our steps.
The witches' sense of unity has been growing stronger, especially since episode 4. This is demonstrated by the brooms: no witch left behind.
UNTIL.
The witches flew right into that coven member's swarm of bugs... then the "trial" started. We don't see the outside of the doors, only the inside; there's no dangerous element like flood or fire, there's no moon on the doors, and the aspect ratio never changes when they enter the room. This completely breaks the pattern established in episodes 3 & 4.
Plus! Agatha is completely powerless during what is apparently her own trial, left to the whims of her mother (a former member of Agatha's coven, who she killed!) and her current coven– who seem all too willing to betray her as soon as they get the chance. They've become a part of the hive mind, just like Salem's Seven.
"I can be good!" Agatha yelled during her "trial"... the exact same thing she yelled when her original coven tried to kill her.
Also... "Alice, don't try to save Agatha!" and
It's funny that the number three was so prevalent this episode ("ages 3 and up", the 03 on Agatha's jersey) because the third trial never even started. This was a false trial made by the Salem's Seven.
So, why did they do this?
Well, Salem's Seven have been on Agatha's trail ever since she was broken out of her spell. They're determined to punish Agatha for what she did to their parents. However, they also are determined to break up the coven. They want to disrupt the gang's newfound unity and force them to fight with each other. This will keep Agatha weak, powerless and unprotected. Much easier to kill.
Maybe they even wanted Teen to reveal his powers and identity. Or take his spellbook. Whatever it was, they goddamn got it.
...
After exploring this theory on my own, I looked for more on Reddit, and I saw someone make a really cool suggestion: dying is what breaks them out of the spell. Which is why Teen threw everyone into the bog, so they could escape. Maybe Agatha realised it first and goaded him into it with that "You're just like your mother" line, or maybe Teen did it all on his own.

After watching Ep. 1 again...
Spoilers for episodes 1-6 of Agatha All Along!!! :)
"I was on a road this morning... and it led to something pretty awful."
I don't think that body is Wanda's. I think it's Billy's. I KNOW, I KNOWWW. Hear me outtt. JUST LISTEN-
First thing's first: We know that a huge amount of what Agatha perceived as real in that episode simply... wasn't. Objects and people acted and looked very different than they really were. There was usually a bit of truth to it (the neighbours really were playing along with Agatha's true crime persona, and Rio + Teen really were at her house) but the rest was obscured from Agatha's perception.
Let's apply this to the body.
Perhaps Agatha really did come across something awful on the road, something that turned her happy-go-lucky neighbour persona into a jaded crime scene detective. Her key questions: "Who are you?" and "What happened to you?"
Agatha doesn't know. She tries to fill in the gaps herself, but she's still under the spell and doesn't know all the details.
Which leads to what happened in the morgue. At first, she doesn't even see the body. But she TELLS HERSELF it's there, and what do you know? When she opens her eyes, the body is suddenly on the table. She says it had scarlet hair, and suddenly there's scarlet hair peeking out from the sheet. Agatha concludes to herself that the body was Wanda's.
Remembering Wanda is what ultimately allowed Agatha to break out of the spell. That's good. She solved the mystery of, "Who is that woman, 5"7 with green eyes and scarlet hair, whose name I can't remember?" and projected that mystery onto the body.
But she didn't solve the mystery of the dead person in the blue hoodie. Rio says to Agatha, "You're asking the wrong questions." Maybe Agatha also found the wrong answers.
Here's the really interesting part.
As we saw in Episode 1 and the trailer for Episode 6, there was a car crash in Eastview. After that, the dead body was found, apparently "crushed by something big and heavy", like a car. Right next to the body, Agatha finds a brooch– her brooch.
You know who was "born and raised" in Eastview? Teen.
You know who could've taken Agatha's brooch? Not Wanda, but Teen, who has done an egregious amount of research on Agatha and literally broke into her house.
You know who could've been crushed by a big, heavy car? Teen, WHO LITERALLY GETS HIT BY A FUCKING CAR AGAIN IN EPISODE 1. Dammit, Mrs. Hart! The boy's been through enough!
Okay.
But if the dead body is Teen's, then how is he LITERALLY ALIVE NOW?
When notified that the body is in fact dead, Agatha winks and says you can never be too sure. If that's not a big red flashing sign for the audience, I don't know what is.
Now, back to the morgue. Agatha finds her own name "A. Harkness" written on the library card. After she remembers Wanda, "W. Maximoff" also appears. This solves her first mystery: Who is that woman I don't quite remember?
But it also solves her second mystery. Who is the dead body?
W. MAXIMOFF.
William "Billy" Maximoff.
Here's a fun little hint I found. In episode 2, when Agatha rips down Billy's "Welcome Coven!" sign, she leaves the "W" just hanging there, right behind his head. This struck me as odd when I watched it the first time. She was pretty forceful, so the only way the "W" would've stayed hanging is if production designed it that way. And to place it right behind his head? That's a literal sign.
Back to the library card. Why even obscure Wanda's first name? If the body is really her, you might as well show her ENTIRE name and finally reveal her face to the audience. It would make things a little more clear... and it'd be good for dramatic effect. No need to be cryptic about it, just give us the answer!
Unless the answer isn't what we thought.
Regardless of whether the body in episode 1 was really there, or even dead at all... I believe it represents Billy, and we're gonna find out why in episode 6.
I'm excited to find out :D
...
Bonus: Lucky Thirteen
"Where were you between the hours of 1 and 3 am?" "Asleep!"
"A lot happened to me when I was 13, too..."
...

YESSS. I love the idea that Billy put the sigil on himself. And the way they set it up at the start, letting us know that sigils also work on the witch that casts them...
PLUS! There's the super weird fact that Billy said he didn't know what a sigil was at the start... even though that's like, a fundamental aspect of witchcraft. Billy should absolutely know what a sigil is, considering he knows what the hell a "hexenbesen" is.
Unless... he made himself forget? Perhaps by using a sigil? :P
The more i think about it, the more i am convinced it was actually Billy who put that sigil on himself. He wants something from the road, but he knows the only one who can help him walk the road is Agatha and that's why he broke Wanda's spell. He just couldn't let Agatha know who he was until he had no other choice.

Oh shit!
First of all– episode 5 does give me major Westview vibes! Especially since they skipped straight from the 80s to the 2000s in WandaVision, it seems. I was excitedly waiting for a 90s episode that never happened, so when it appeared in Agatha All Along (admittedly, more late-80s than 90s)I was kind of floored. I literally thought, "Maybe this was a scrapped set idea from WandaVision?" That's how strong the vibes were.
Second of all– it's not even far fetched to suggest this is Teen's trial! We saw a lot of his POV this episode; he was the focus of so many reaction shots, not to mention his decisions and ideas influenced it heavily. The brooms, Nicholas Scratch, the crazy moment at the end.
ALSO, THE OUIJI BOARD– that is so Teen's thing. It's practical magic with rules, and it's often associated with teenagers! So many horror movies start out with a bunch of teens and a Ouiji board. AND! HIS SPELL BOOK WENT MISSING THIS EPISODE! How convenient. Especially when he said the whole reason he went on the road was because he already had knowledge of magic (AKA his book) but needed power to back it up. And this all takes place in the episode titled "Darkest Hour / Wake Thy Power". Almost like it's a part of his trial?
HMMMMMM– ok I'll stop being obnoxious.
Great idea OP!
Sprawling Immediate Thoughts on Agatha All Along Episode 5 (spoilers duh)
Well, so like obviously that wasn’t Agatha’s trial, right? Like, so sorry, but the 80’s sleepover goosbumps aesthetic doesn’t exactly scream Agatha Harkness to me. You know who it does scream? Billy Maximoff, a boy born in his mother’s 80’s sitcom creation. Even the decorations on the walls of the cabin say “Westview” and “Eastview.” Agatha sure as hell doesn’t give a damn about Westview. This isn’t the trial adapting for her, it’s adapting for the newest member of the coven. Teen finally got his bonafides as a coven member once he exchanged brooms with Alice. (Put a pin in what Agatha said about the brooms representing selflessness).
Then when solving the trial there is major structural changes. In the first trial the key to the solution was tied to Jenn’s fall from grace. The trial is essentially calling her out for her terrible morals in business because she feels powerless since being bound. She feels like nothing she does matters anymore, so who gives a damn if there’s petroleum in the Goop. Then in Alice’s trial the entire solution was embracing her mother’s love and sacrifice, something she’s been rejecting out of fear and anger. In this trial, there is no solution for Agatha. She can’t go back and change the past, she can’t reason with her mother, she can’t fight back. Agatha has no recourse with a woman who believes she was born evil. Agatha is powerless; she’s a puppet in this game. You know who does have power in the episode titled “Darkest Hour/Wake Thy Power”? TEEN!
Furthermore, I don’t think this trial is over. We know that when Agatha has siphoned power it becomes purple, she even says to Rio “Let me get my purple back.” But we see when she leaves the treehouse, Alice’s power is still orange. This indicates to me that the power isn’t actually Agatha’s, this is all still part of the trial.
Obviously part of the episode is about Agatha confronting her past, because that’s what the whole show has been about. But even more specifically this episode was about Teen/Billy finding his power. Back to that pin about the brooms symbolizing selflessness now. Teen confronts Agatha outside asking her if this is all witchcraft is. The hunt for power and the selfish pursuit of desire at the cost of everyone else. Sure, that could be about Agatha, but you know who it fits better? Wanda. Even without malicious intentions, Wanda did enslave an entire town in a torturous mind prison so she wouldn’t have to confront the reality that Vision was dead. Even after realizing this, she’s tempted to keep Westview this way so she can keep her perfect life. In MoM she is willing to destroy anyone in the hunt for her children. She let’s her rage guide her to cruelty and destruction. Wanda is meant to be the hero, but she knowingly traps Agatha into a mind prison with no escape for over three years. When Agatha goads Teen into finally revealing his true identity we see he gives in to his mother’s own worst instincts. He controls those around him when he feels like he can’t control his own life. He is calmly cruel to enemies and allies alike. I think the end of his trial will be rising above Wanda’s worst impulses and becoming better and more selfless than his mother.
Keep in mind, the trial was ouija. It is all about communing with the dead. And who’s murder trial did we begin the season trying to solve? Not Evanora, Death, or Nicholas’, but Wanda’s.
TLDR: No way in hell Agatha’s trial involves Lycra and ankle warmers, something is afoot here.

Agatha All Along & Aspect Ratios
Spoilers for Agatha All Along episode 5
OK BUT SERIOUSLY
In episode 3 and episode 4, as soon as they entered the location of the trial, the aspect ratio changed. It filled up more of the screen, go back and see for yourself!
BUT IN EPISODE 5 THE ASPECT RATIO NEVER CHANGES??????
(Thanks tumblr ppl for making me notice this)
And remember– there was no flood or fire this time. Where was the element related to the trial? Where was the outside threat? We didn't even see a fancy-schmancy moon-themed door open. Just a set of rickety wooden swing doors... which we see only from the INSIDE, not the OUTSIDE like episodes 3 & 4. The "blood moon" was on a random window.
Was that even the room of the trial?
I bet there's a random window or another spooky lil door they'll have to enter for the thing to actually start. I dunno what was up with this episode– all scrambled and a bit out of character– but I bet this has something to do with it.
So, either they never entered the room of the trial, OR the trial isn't over, OR this was all a weird vision/premonition/hallucination... OR some other thing.
...Also, I hope Alice isn't actually dead.
...ALSO did you notice the colour grading in the last scene? It was all green. And where is our green witch, anyway?
Episode 6!!!!
BITCH!!!!!
PLS COME SOONER!!!!!!
PLS AND TY!!!!!!!!!!!!
Edit: I used the points from this post to make an even more fleshed-out theory!
