All Christmas Services listed for your information. Everyone is welcome, young and old! If you are new to our church, our address is: Hall Lane, Upminster, Essex, RM14 1AE, we are about 30 yards from Upminster tube/C2C train station. And there is coffee, tea and biscuits after the service... Come along!

1st Advent, All Age (Family) service and TOY Service (where we all bring toy donations for the salvation army to distribute to families in need, in time for Christmas) - meant a church full to the hilt, no spare seat anywhere to be found!

Send a spare Christmas Card

HAVE YOU GOT A SPARE CHRISTMAS CARD? If you have, please send it to the Queen Victoria Seamans Rest.  Most of the residents here do not have any family. Christmas cards received are shared out between the residents and used to brighten their rooms and to show them they are not forgotten. All that is necessary is to sign the card with your Christian name or ‘from a friend’. On the envelope write Christmas Card, this way the Seaman’s mission can forward it UNOPENED and each resident can open their own card.

Donate a christmas present to a child in need: Toy Service 1.12.19

Every year we collect toys - pre-loved or new, for those children who may not otherwise enjoy Christmas presents. If you have any toys in good condition which have been outgrown or are no longer wanted, which you would like to donate to the Salvation Army to brighten a child’s life this Christmas, please bring them along to the service. If you can provide a voucher for an older child to spend on something they would really like, this would also be appreciated.

Collect Waitrose Green  Tokens

This month the Christmas Tree Festival is one of the three organisations which will benefit from the Waitrose Community Matters scheme at the Upminster branch. Please consider supporting the festival with your token, as it will help to pay for the our expenses, incl. the electricity for the lights/heating, and the Christmas trees and much more.
