At first you have no idea what did Aria mean, but then, it slowly dawns on you.

"More stuff for me to deal with." Melody declared. "But for now, I'm going to get her to a morgue."

She kneels down and slowly places the corpse on her back. "You can either continue with your date or accompany me to the morgue."

"I think we'll continue with our date, right Imari?" Aria shoulders you.

"We have a cake order we need to pick up at Asteria cafe before it closes." You add.

"Oh? That place. I hear their cookies , especially the peach ones are are super delicious. Plus, they're great for diabetic patients and the health conscious due to the low sugar content.

Well, see you ... eventually." And with that, Melody walks away.

After making sure she was out of sight, Aria breathes a sigh of relief.

"Thanks for the assist, or we would have been tagging along with her to the morgue and I really don't want to hear her colourful thoughts on the dead."

"We actually do have an order waiting to be picked up." You responded.

"You were planning to surprise me, huh?" Aria smiles.

"Come, let's go get it." She grabs your hand and starts walking in the direction you came.

You notice that she looks much more happier than before, almost as if she had forgotten about that run-down pharmacy.

Maybe one day you'll ask about it to her or investigate with Mini Mizuki, but for now, you decided that your date with Aria was more important.

When the both of you arrive at the location Melody gave you, the entrance of an alleyway near an run down pharmacy (which Aria stares at with a rather melancholic gaze for a brief moment,) you find Melody crouching next to a woman with half black and half blonde hair with a hint of pink at the very end, just like Tenma Saki.

"Will... she make it?" You ask Melody.

Melody shakes her head. "She just passed away a few moments before you guys came."

"Why is she part Saki?" Aria points to her left eye, which is the same colour and size as Saki's, a contrast to her right eye, which is slightly smaller and brown.

"Serum Saki." Melody clicks her tongue. "It's something my creator made to ensure the Saki clones will not deviate much from Tenma Saki's base personality after my little rebellion."

"So, how did something your creator made end up in her system?" You question

"She signed up for a clinical test in which Serum Saki was one of the drugs tested. Said something about wanting to not burden her daughter and her lover anymore. She... didn't care if she died in the process as... it meant they wouldn't have to use their time and money to take care of an ailing mother"

Both Aria and you fall silent, the latter holding your hand to comfort you.

"What else did she test?" You mumble, loud enough for both of them to hear you.

"Serum An."

The moment those words leave Melody's mouth, Aria's expression darkened.

"Did she mention who employed her?"

"She was barely able to speak when I asked her that, but I did manage to make out Ha... and 3." Melody replies.

"So my family is refining that Serum. Good to know."

"Ha... and 3... related to Koori." You tap your chin with your free hand. "It's Hana Section 3, isn't it?"

Melody facepalms "That was my first guess, but I felt it was a huge stretch to assume it was them."

"I can certainly see why. Without knowledge that at least one of the tested products is associated with my family, it's natural to assume it's not Hana Section 3 behind this."

Aria turns to you "Oh, Imari. You have no idea what Serum An does, right?"

You nod. "Does it do some fucked up thing to those who take it?"

"Quite the opposite actually.

It's a medicine that deals with pain and hastens the healing process, allowing one to be up and running within hours of a life threatening injury, which is the reason my brother is able to go to work even after I severely injured him the day before, but that's for another time."

Melody perks up at Aria's last words. "Tell me more about how you injured him later."

"If I remember." Aria responds half-heartedly.

"Hmmmm." you mumble, earning a confused look from Aria "Don't you find it odd that Serum Saki is tested on her by Section 3 despite not being a Koori product?"

Aria stretches her arms, smiling as the both of you walk around the Pharmacity.

"Finally, no more supplementary classes for the time being, at least until my family does more stuff I have to deal with.

Just hope it stays that way until I start the credit system next year."

"I hope so too.

I missed our dates.... and your warm touch."

Aria slightly blushes and immediately looks away before reaching for your hand. "You didn't have to say that last part, you know."

You softly laugh and let her grab your hand, noting her smile as she does so.

"So, do we have a place you want to check out or it's just aimlessly wandering till we find a lead?"

Before you could answer her, your phone rings. Seeing it's from Melody, you immediately pick it up.

"Yo, Imari, I found someone who I think you need to see. But hurry, she's dying and I don't think the hospital can do anything to save her. I'll send you the coordinates soon."

You immediately hang up and check your messages.

"Who was that?" Aria asked.

"Melody. She found someone on the brink of death that she wants us to see. They're not far from us, so we should be able to make it if we run." You explain.

Aria, understanding the gravity of the situation, looks at you. "Lead the way"

Mizuki sent me some new clothes that she found while roaming dimensions, some of which I think would fit Akio nicely.

Ever since you found out students affiliated with Hana are at your school, Mini Mizuki has been coming to school with you and becoming a favourite among the teachers and students, to the point where it's treated as an honorary student, whatever that means here.

It's amazing how an identity change was all it took to allow Mini Mizuki to come with you.

Really makes you think if the school has an issue with Mini Kanades.

Though, considering what you know about Hana and Mini Kanades, they probably wanted to avoid conflicts breaking out at school.

Oh, apparently there's this hit drama series some of your classmates are watching.

It's about an angel who tried to end the world to save it, but failed and is now put on trial for her crimes.

Hopefully that angel Melpdy mentioned did not try something like that.

Hold on, one of them said their Section went to war with angels and lost and that their assistant director has a thing for angels...
