“Maybe if you got some sleep Jimmy, then you wouldn’t be so stiff and grumpy.” it wasn’t clear if this dusty old crow was teasing or not given that he flew in for a bit before needing to head out again on something, “Plus sleep would help out with the frown lines and more too I may add, though the stiff part? I dunno... Jimmy is already stiff as is from the metal he has to him though.” sniggering a bit before looking at the time and going to try fly away but knowing his luck it might be fumbled depending on how things went.

“I bet Raven hides her grey hairs though I mean... in that bundle of hair there likely be some hiding now, considering the stress she’s under at times too.” not even sure what the heck was going on of talk of greying hairs but then again this odd crow was out of the loop nowadays, “Frankly I don’t mind my salt n’ pepper look now, fitting for a dusty old crow like myself honestly. Pfft...” purposely shaking his head while his hair resembled feathers fluffing up and showing of that very look of what he was talking about.

“Had a bad run of luck really, if that could be answering the question of me being cranky.” wheezing a bit when having his swig before shaking his head a bit while wings rustled, “Or what? You’d drag me down from here? Heh.” snorting a bit when not so cranky while the light buzz be had in the system before putting his flask away.

Random though of how Qrow ends up giving into his inner bird while doing things at times, especially when it comes to stealing shiny things that end up stirring that inner bird of his. Just taking the occasional shiny for his odd collection of various shiny things and hiding it among his many feathers that are bunched in with the hidden stash. Also to think of his thieving ways come back when having the odd bird moment to snatch something up, much like how he used to steal from others back when having used to be with the tribe.

Funny and cute idea of Ruby making a birdhouse for an odd crow that is seen around the home in Patch, busy smiling of seeing the odd bird visiting the birdhouse that was made for them and not knowing that it be Uncle Qrow being a doofus when acting like bird. Qrow secretly liking the little bird hideaway that Ruby made even if it be a bit rough, he could see that it be made with care as well love for a bird that be flying around the home often. As well being teased by Tai for popping by to see the family and asking how the birdhouse is in private, while Qrow just puts on that grumpy bird expression when giving the blond man a light smack on the arm for teasing him like that.

I like to imagine Qrow whenever as a bird would gather a small murder of fellow wild crows and of them still knowing it’s him as a human on turning to a human in front of them. As well in able to speak crow while in a human form though it sounds weird to anyone else when finding him speaking with his murder of feathered friends, same for when it comes to understanding them as well due to the various times he spent a long time as a bird.

Plus always having a soft spot for crows as a child when been on his own for the most part when Raven left him be, looking like a crow witch whenever having numerous crows on him and pocketing the various little gifts he get from them as well. Which to this day when older he still tends to be a curious one when crows gather about him and the like, even bringing that inner bird of his feeling at home among the various crows that be chattering to him as well.

Not to mention him joining in being a menace when in the mood to raise heck with his fellow crows, finding funny when shifting to a human form one would try to sit on him before being on top of his head with that low churr. Tending to chuckle of bird fun that he partake in even in towns or cities when drawing attention of crows, especially when it comes to nabbing free food and skying off with food or even panhandling food from people as well while spreading his bird wisdom to the wild birds in that funny manner.

Miffed along with how his hair resembled feathers that were fluffed up while not amused of how a fellow bird was being treated, “Well that’s one to steer clear of when bein’ a bird, then again... I’d rather keep myself intact and not be a snack for some people.” being a ruffled bird when he made those unhappy bird noises there before steering clear of things.

“Well the kiddo better take it since I felt like givin’ him some cash for the heck of it, besides... I have more stashed away honestly.” giving that soft rustle of his wings when having partly changed back from being a bird and giving that soft churr, “Could of dropped a gemstone in his lap but I couldn’t find one, so here’s hopin’ that the cash would do. Heh...” not minding of having a mess of feathers about him while sitting in a tree looking like a big bird there.

“Alright. I will buy you two drinks, if you will truly keep all that to yourself. I’m not exactly used to… ” he looks down at his clothes, not sure how to sum it all up, “uh, wearing civilian clothes anymore.”

Gods, this sounded bad.

Can’t help of giving the other a smile when doing that zipped lips motion, “Hey... with my luck just end up taking it to my dusty grave, feathers and all really. Heh.” bad humor but then again this dusty crow was a bit bad nearly everything honestly, “Looks nice either way, again taking it to the grave like a good bird really.” can’t help of how the way it sounded when James put it like that but not daring to push the luck too far since it may end up blowing up in his face.

“Hey don’t get all stiff again now, it’s a nice change of pace really.” being honest of that while giving that light raise of his hands in surrender after a bit, “A simple drink be all good, besides... even without the agreement I’d keep that little thing to myself. Lips and beak sealed Jimbo, heh.” making that zipping motion along with that soft chuckle when going to keep to that too.

Whistles at seeing something fine when and giving that pleased churr, “Well talk about a sweet look, who knew that he could loosen up and be casual a bit huh? Heh, how neat that is too.” not bothering of hiding his wings that come out from his partial shift and making soft feathers scatter a bit.
