Just wondering if there was a reason the author removed her story from Fanfiction? I was surprised to see it gone with no note on her profile and luckily remembered this tumblr and saw the change to A03. Thanks for keeping us informed!

Ah, she references it briefly in the A/N on the first chapter over at AO3, but the gist of it is that her review section became a food fight of people going back and forth about whether or not Harry and Hermione are the worse people to walk the earth, lol. It was kinda wild. I feel bad for Michelle though, because it must be stressful to handle. AO3 gives her better mechanisms to control the feedback loop, including shutting off comments altogether, which she has done for the time being. Hope that helps!

I was looking back through this tumblr and I just realized the quote I used for my fanmix doesn’t even exist in the story anymore, lmao. Kinda sad. 

I also don’t really like or listen to any of these songs anymore, except the Coldplay one, but that’s neither here nor there.

Merry Xmas all!! here is my submission for the hhr Xmas Event hosted by @hms-harmony-discord, an absolutely lovely community that I am so grateful to be a part of! This is loosely based off my favorite fanfic Unlike A Sister by MADharmony, where hhr shares their first, and very heated, first kiss tucked away upstairs during a Christmas Party. Hi, I’m nearing the end of “Unlike a sister”, (something I‘ve been dreading since I started reading it) and I’m trying to convince myself that it’s not such a big deal (failing miserably lol). Some fics similar to this one? Or at least with good characterisations?

I think the closest fic I ever found that kinda scratched the itch that UaS left me was Nine-Tenths of the Law by Diablolita. It has a lot more smut (but it’s good smut, if you’re into that kind of thing), and Harry and Hermione are already full on cheating in this. However, the writer puts a lot of subtext and nuances behind Harry and Hermione’s interactions and within their dynamic. It’s very compelling, but also remains unfinished. Let me know what you think.
