I'm actually headed there myself, I have a research project going on some of the octopus you can find in some of the pools, they're absolutely fascinating! The young woman seemed pretty unfazed by his question, instead offering a smile. He seemed reasonably gentle despite his appearance, and she wasn't one to judge based off first glances alone. In fact, he seemed rather nice, from what she could tell.

The older girl gently reached a hand down to pat the little girl's head, offering a soft smile.

"Don't worry, someday they'll be the ones who are beaten down. Mean people like them never get anywhere in life." She said, a soft chuckle leaving her in the process as she spoke. She felt bad for the kid, but she knew that people were always cruel to those they couldn't understand.

"I can't believe some people! Honestly, doing such a heartless thing to such a young child, how dare they!" Oh she was absolutely fuming, true, she'd grown up in the foster system, but this was just cruel.

"You poor sweet thing, I can't believe they could do such a thing. From what I can tell, you haven't done a single thing wrong."

She raised a brow at the other, one hand reaching up to move her hair out of the way a little as she looked at them with a soft sigh. Not that being stared at was anything unusual for her, but it still made her a little curious all the same.

Kamira smiled, giggling a little in the process as she moved to sit cross-legged on the floor. She was honestly just happy to have someone around to talk to and since he seemed rather playful and fun to be around so far, she was happy to spend time with him.

"Alright, twenty questions it is. Though...After this I think I'll have to show you the fun of movies later."

She chuckled softly, it seemed he had missed out on quite a bit. Still, she was content with this game for now.

"Twenty questions is a game where you think of an object, thing, or place and the other person has to guess what it is. They are allowed to ask twenty yes or no questions to help give them hints to what it might be. It can be a real brain teaser."

Kamira wasn't one to judge on appearances, in fact quite the opposite. She always did her best to try and talk to others and figure out what their personalities were like to see if they would get along. This lovely young woman seemed friendly enough, if not a little shy, but Kamira didn't particularly mind.

Another new school, Kamira figured she should have been used to this by now. But it seemed adjusting to yet another new place wasn't going to be the easiest thing in the world. Especially since she'd only just managed to adjust to the last one. But oh well, she would make do with what she had.

After giving the usual new student introduction, she was sent to sit down next to someone new, and though she wasn't quite sure about it all, she decided it best to allow herself to be friendly. Nobody liked a bitchy newcomer, after all.

"Hi there, I'm Kamira. It's nice to meet you." She said, offering a friendly smile as she spoke and sitting down where she'd been assigned. Hopefully she wouldn't come off as too ditzy, that would be the one thing she dreaded.

[Text:] That is very true. I think that toxin idea is a very good idea, maybe we should look more into it. I do know of someone who has a few as pets, maybe they'd let us use some of their toxins for some research.

Admittedly, she was rather enjoying talking with him now that they were on topic it seemed.

Kamira offered a smile, head tilting slightly to one side as she spoke. This guy looked pretty uninterested in anything she had to say, but it wouldn't hurt to be friendly anyway.

Cue a rather confused tilt of Kamira's head as she looked at the hedgehog with a raised eyebrow for a brief moment, mainly having been surprised since she hadn't even been paying attention to the fact that he was there.

"Um...No? I don't think so, unless you can help me disappear. Because that would be great."

The hedgehog makes a face as the human approaches him. Why is it always him? Can’t they figure out he doesn’t want them around?taking a few steps away from them he frowns.
