I’m not being funny. This is literally the reincarnation cycle.

We plan with our soul group and guides what we come to experience and how we want to grow. And no it’s not all “get rich, f—- b——s” because our higher selves know that would be juvenile and BORING.

We came here to live the drama and learn the lessons. A reminder that Karma isn’t a cycle of reward and punishment, it’s just another word for lessons.

So yeah, bad shit is going to go down. Suffering and heartbreak WILL happen. And it doesn’t mean you’re not manifesting right, or that you don’t know how to step into your power, or you need to tap into your dark masculine/dark feminine.

I mean, you can do ALL that if you want because you get to decide how to play this thing. But if the road is bumpy? Congratulations. You’re working on that soul shit you came here to work on. Keep going buddy. You’re doing great.

Being an actor keeps me sane. Yeah I have to work a day job but know what? When my day job is stressful and I want to scream I get to go hey wait. I have a scream scheduled at 7:30 tonight. Gotta save up. And then I go back to what I was doing.

I was walking out of the Walmart today, and a car passed me, and I got this incredibly vivid impression. It wasn't really in words, but if I had to put it into words, the two key points would be

a). I needed to watch that car and

b). That I needed to be careful, because the driver of the car was a massive bitch.

It kind of took me by surprise, because I really had no reason to be beefing with that car, and I also hadn't really had an impression like that since I was religious, which was in my teen years. Right? It'd been a decade since I had a little voice whisper in my ear, and I'd basically written it off as nonsense.

Anyway, I watched the car, because The Spirits or whatever were very insistent that I did. Car drove fine, went into the parking spot, inched forward, and right when it should've just stopped, the driver gunned it for some reason and it ran into the curb and cracked its bumper.

So, the driver got out, and she went to the front of the car to check that yes, she had cracked her bumper, and then she turned to look at me. The parking lot wasn't empty, but we were the only two people standing in that row, and I'd probably been staring at her for tenish seconds now.

She demanded very angrily to know why I hadn't warned her of the curb. And I could have said I didn't know you were about to gun it or is it my job to help every stranger park, or even could you have even heard me, inside your car?

And all of those would have been fine, but I was really, really busy digesting that I had somehow communed with Mormon Jesus again for the first time in fifteen years, and that the communion had mostly been there to let me watch someone park badly (?), so what I responded with was:

"Because it was foretold."

And I can't tell which would be funnier, if she went silent because there's not much to be said to that, or if she went silent because in Utah, she might actually believe me, but we parted ways without more words.

I'm still kind of digesting this myself, actually.

I had a customer come in today holding out their phone (full brightness) and looking all shy and Im immediately like 🙄 fine ok, what does the instagram user want me to make for them this time. well this time it's a cringe harry potter themed frappucino. excuse me??? "can you make this for me?" I said excuse me??? -- I mean *customer service voice* "yeah it looks like I have all the ingredients, haha sure!"

ok cringe instagram harry potter frappucino drinker. ok. die. "Ive never had this drink before" yeah I can tell due to the fact that it didnt exist until someone posted a #aesthetic photo of it to instagram 14 hours ago ok. ok,

but whatever, Im paid to put up with this shit. so I add the ingredients all up on my computer and congrats! ur harry potter cringe social media drink has $10 worth of syrup in it. are you happy??? is this what you wanted??? a $10 frappucino??? $10. for a drink. you doubled the price of this drink for ur off-brand "harry potter and the legend of the overpriced starbucks drink" drink. you doubled the price!!! is this how u imagined spending ur day? is this what u wanted to do when u woke up this morning? $10 for a 24oz drink?

and u know, you KNOW the influencer making this recipe doesn't even work at a starbucks cause when it was all said and done the drink looked like shit. my blender was straining against the weight of your sins (and syrups) and Im sweating, Im an animal, Im losing my mind and my blender is getting watered down frappucino syrups everywhere -- u put so much shit liquid in this blender it doesnt even fit in the cup btw. it's making a huge mess. but is it instagramable? no, its fucking ugly. #trending #foryoupage #cringe $10 harold potter drink for adult children,

I had a very long, emotional talk with a friend about the state of the world and the darkness hanging over us all, and how grim it all seems.

There is just one thing I wish I could give to everyone is the idea that part of the Struggle, of wanting a better world, is that you need to celebrate the victories and not just sink into despair.

I think this hit me a few years back, maybe 3 or 4, when I saw someone say "If all you reblog about trans people is how much you hate terfs, what are you even doing here? make sure you're elevating us and not just our haters"

which unlocked something in my brain. that I needed to love trans people more than I hated transphobes. hate can't be the point.

a diet of fear and anger will poison you, you need to have joy too. you can't lose sight of the joy and hope. we have to know that we can win, and we have to celebrate everyone around us. if all you can think about are the failures and you can't remember where we won, then what are you doing here? how do you see the future? will I see you there?

i hope so, and that's the guiding light.

I grew up next to a farm so like. I’ve had years to make peace with the idea of eating meat. It was a beef farm, we would buy meat wholesale from them in the winters, and it got us through. Take some city kid out to the farm and they’ll freak out about the cows, they always do, “oh they’re so cute how could you!” It’s not like we just flippantly kill animals, there is NUANCE to the whole thing. We don’t LIKE killing the cows but what else are we gonna do? Set them free and let the bank take the farm? Animals die for us, animals die for other animals, it’s LIFE. Should it be done humanely? Yes. Obviously. No farmer is gonna argue with that. But at the end of the day meat is food.

From when we are very young we're led to believe that every story should have a happy ending. It can be extremely painful when our own stories or battles end in failure or loss.
