Okay So I got a theory about dog therians/kins. You know how small dogs get Small Dog Syndrome and think they’re bigger than they actually are? Is it possible that some dog therians get that too and that’s the reason we never see any smaller dog kintypes?

hey! i was wondering how you figured out your kintypes? ive been questioning mine for awhile now and was looking for advice

Personally for me, if I'm questioning a certain kintype I read about other Alterhumans experiences who are the kintype i'm questioning and see if I relate to it, I would also narrow down what my kintypes were by the phantom limbs I was getting, that being a tail and a snout which narrowed it down to some sort of canine, after that I would just do a lot of research on a bunch of animals in the canine family and see if I experienced and or related to things that certain species did.

For most of my kintypes though it was really simple as I could just look at an animal or character and be like " Yep that's me " but for the other ones like I said, I would just try to narrow it down by the few traits you know about it and read about others personal experiences and how they found out what they were, it's kind of really hard to put it into words of how I know I'm Alterhuman but I hope I at least helped a little /srs

( I would also definitely recommend looking into terms and labels in the community and see if you relate to any of them )

Normalize wearing tails and dog collars in public. Who cares what some random people think of you? It’s your life and you only get to live once, so do whatever you want. The worst that happens is that you might get laughed at a little or barked at, but you’re going to look back on that in a few years and think how iconic it was, and you shouldn’t be afraid to express yourself. I’ve personally found that wearing my collar at school has eased some of my social anxiety, though I don’t speak for everyone obviously, it’s still worth a try ! ! !
