I have a new favorite cup courtesy of @felinegeeky and @masseffectholidaycheer! I'm so glad I got to participate in the Holiday Harbinger exchange this year, and I love my gift so much! Everything is so lovely, and truly I may never use another cup for my morning coffee.

Look how gorgeous it is! I was genuinely speechless when I opened the box. I can't believe she found such perfect fabric. It's also nice and warm, which has been very important recently haha.

ME Fic Recs

Confession: once upon a time, I was a young idiot full of my own self-importance, and I thought that if *I* left kudos or *gasp* comments on a fic, it was giving it an endorsement and therefore I had to do so sparingly at best, or my recs would lose value.

yeah, wtf. This is bullshit. I realized this.

I now try to be very generous with support - if I read the whole thing, and especially if you hit me with something unique, I will mash that button for all it's worth. It's not a statement of quality, it's a statement of enjoyment.

And before anyone decides that's a back-handed compliment, that's not what I mean. You can write the most flawless prose and still not engage a reader or you can bare your heart and soul and your raw work, and burn my heart with its beauty. Most of the time, fics fall somewhere in the middle - fates know mine do, and I'm not going back to edit them.

So, in the spirit of these fics made me feel things that you might enjoy feeling too, and also, encourage these writers!, I present you a short list of things I have enjoyed recently.
