       The Exiled King had not the keen senses of an elf, but upon years of having a mark on                                               his head, he knew when something was "off".                                                   Just outside the Blue Mountains he stood, a place that he had made home for that of the dwarves after the destruction of their city under the mountain.  Thorin had  plans that would lead them back to Erebor, and that was just what he had been plotting before the presence of a stranger lingered about him.  The dwarf removed his axe from the holster on his back and held it firmly, deciding he should not be too careful.  

       With a few steps forward, Thorin saw her.  An elf, golden-headed with an innocent face.                           She was young, but it did not excuse her to be in his lands.                                             Elves were not welcome, not even a single, seemingly helpless female.

Very much confuzzled as to where you guys came from because I’ve only had Fili for like a week and I swear you’re all popping up like dwarves from the ground but hi hello thank you for being here I hope you’re liking what you’re seeing and thank you for sticking around despite my crapton of ooc posts.

I’ve honestly never been so welcomed in a fandom as I have been on Fili, and it’s crazy and overwhelming and insane and all in a good way. So this is me sort of returning the love, I suppose.

               Well, you guys, I’ve had this rebooted blog for about - two months?  Ish?  I don’t quite remember.  It’s been such an honour to write with you lot, especially given that, when I first decided to throw myself into the Potter, Tolkein, Dragon Age, historical, and medieval writing fandoms, I was living in Reykjavik and thus in a very wonky timezone, with very little free time due to my gig over there.  That said, I’ve been blessed to meet so many amazing writers and even to make a few friends.  2014 has been a year of extreme highs and lows for me, multiple times over, so here’s to looking at a better 2015. Thank you all SO much for your warm and welcoming receptions to Godric; he is by far my favourite muse and it makes me all happy inside to see him so well-received. I wish you all the very best year to come, and may we all do well in our upcoming endeavours!! —- xoxo
