Destroy the notion that intellectually disabled adults are children in adult bodies.

I feel like there isn’t as much awareness/knowledge about dyscalculia as there is dyslexia. I didn’t know what my math related learning disability was called until recently. I wish everyone wasn’t like math knowledge = smart; I was kinda told I was dumb by other kids. Like they didn’t say that exactly but you know.

like think about the narrative of the "struggling student" who needs to be punished or in pain to justify a lack of aptitude.
or "good students" who are taught they are worth more than other people until they are demoted to struggling students for a more average grade.
