Dear, love of my life

You have made me happy in a way I didn't know was possible. Earlier this week you sent me a song called Rest Assured, and it somehow described exactly what you make me feel. Sometimes I wonder if the only reason why we work is because of the distance but, I know that we are meant to be. You are the best person I have ever met and I tend to push you away because I'm scared to get hurt. Even though, I do that you don't leave. There's this quote that says "Love never fails. So if it fails, it was never love." I think it's true which is why if we don't work out it was never love which it hurts to think about. My therapist said that I tend to think about the worst possible scenario and fixate or worry about it even if it might never happen. In a way, that's expecting the worst but, if you and I fail won't be because we were never in love it would be because it was the right person at the wrong time. I truly think you and I are in love because we have survived so much and we try to work even in the worst conditions and states away. I hope and pray that you aren't cheating on me because that means that they can pretend all they want but anything can happen, there will always be another girl. All that I can do is hope that I am enough for you but that means that I might never be enough for anyone. You make me feel safe, known, accepted, and loved. There's this thing that says just because they love you doesn't make you feel loved. I hope that you feel loved. You told me that ever since you met me your life has been better. I didn't know how to tell you that I feel the same you made my life way better by just being in it. I have always said there was nothing that you can do that will make me not love you which is scary because I feel like you could do the absolute worst things and in the end I will still love you regardless and unconditionally. I love you so much like if I could fly to you to just hold you, see you, and talk to you for just a few hours I would do it daily no matter what. I miss you like crazy and I wish I was able to do everything with you. I wish I could take you on pottery dates, picnic dates, and anything really. I love you so much and unconditionally. I just hope you know that.
