Row 6: Five sarcastically asks whether it’s too late to be unadopted. The finale twist is that Reginald unadopts the Umbrella Academy. End ID.]

okay hot take: the siblings try to help vanya get stuff from the top shelf in odd ways. like they all try and help her and in the end shes just like "ill climb the shelves instead" (mostly when its diego bc it goeslike "here ill toss you up to get that thing up there" "diego i love you for trying, but im not letting you throw me")

I just can't stop thinking of ways they'd all try to help her get the Thing down like:

Luther tries lifting her by the waist and raising her up to the shelf (he asked her first and she said "ok") and the entire time he's like "oh no what if I hold her too hard and crush her she's tiny and small she's like a stick what if I break her like a stick and her insides just get crushed and-" meanwhile vanya's just like. alright cool I got the Thing lemme down now.

The first time he did it he lifted her Simba Style and she reacts just like cats usually do when they're lifted up by under their front legs. Doesn't like it.

Besides the tossing idea (which I LAUGHED out loud at because he definitely would. Toss A Vanya To Your Shelf.) Diego once tried to throw knives into the wall below the Thing so she could use the handles like rungs on a ladder to climb up and get it. This did not come to fruition.

Everyone expects Allison to rumor the things down but she just says "I heard a rumor that there was a stepping stool in that closet." and just. gets it from the closet. and sets it out for vanya. that's it.

Klaus is Tall enough that he could just get it but that's no fun so he has a ghost do it. It kinda scares Vanya though. And he feels bad about it because he Didn't Want to scare vanny :(

Five blips onto the counter and grabs the Thing and hands it to her and he probably grumbles about how she should think of her own solutions to her problems instead of relying on everyone else (even though without his teleportation he'd have the same problems with reaching things as Vanya)

Ben uses a tentacle to get the Thing down. Vanya appreciates it. She also does not want to touch the Thing now.

And here's the kicker...

Vanya can levitate but she doesn't because as crazy as their methods are she likes seeing her siblings all try to help her :)

Honestly I love the difference we got with Raymond and Sissy as Hargreeves' love interests bc like. On one hand we get Sissy who spends most of the season not knowing anything about the shit the Hargreeves siblings have to deal with... and on the other hand we got Raymond who was introduced to SO MUCH of the Hargreeves' shit SO QUICKLY but by god did he do his fucking best to support his fucking wife
