She nodded and decided to just show what she was capable off. “Let’s see, I have Crescent Rose, which I will show off in a few minutes, then I have speed that is only matched by Elite Jounin, as well as the Hokage, or atleast that is what he told me.” She shrugged at that, not always understanding all the high words the Hokage had used.

“But yeah, as I just mentioned a few minutes ago, this is Crescent Rose.” She pinned her to the ground and let it unfold at the same time. “It’s a combination between a scythe and sniper rifle, so it allows me to fight at every range, a little bit less in midrange, but I can rush the enemy.”

— { ♣ } — That was...well unexpected. Even disregarding the rather charming weapon, which she hoped didn’t always take so long to open in such a complex manner, thus leaving Rose-san unprotected,the fact that Minato-sama himself commented on the speed of this young girl was surprising, “Ah... That was a compliment. Jounin are the elite of our army, so to speak, and the Hokage is... Well, considered to be faster than light itself. For him to say that you come close to such a speed...”

The question still remained as to why she was receiving such a student. Sure, she had taught her nephew, or Shunshin no Shisui, the art of practically teleporting, but other than gifting the girl to the hands of the Uchiha, Rose-san had nothing common with the fire that burned through the veins of her Clan. “I weild a War Fan, so teaching you weapons training with chakra would be out of the question...”

“But you hide it pretty well,” he stated, picking up the fork and twirling it between his fingers. His mother was right—old is old, no matter how much or how little it showed on a person. “Mm, yes, mom,” he chuckled. “You still look young.” 

Once the tomatoes were set down on the table, he pulled in his seat and readied himself for dinner, but dropped his fork in shock when his mother mentioned “G-Grandchildren?” A light blush stained the raven’s face and his eyes grew wide. 

— { ♣ } — “Ehh, of course Sasu-chan! After all, it really would be lovely to hear the laughter of children within these old and bare walls. Unless you and Ita-chan would like to instead?” Perhaps she’s merely thinking out loud, but from the heart poured on such thoughts of a mother. The rooms of the Main Uchiha Compound were rather silent nowadays, even with Fugaku around once more to drink tea and keep company with her.
