Think about it. One day, Mira leaves without telling the others about her plan, just saying that she wants to walk around the city to “clear her head”. Zoey and Rumi are confused, and offer to walk with her, you know, because girlfriends and such. Mira says no, and leaves

Hours later, she comes back, in a little bit of pain, but no injuries. Zoey is concerned in her way while Rumi goes and gets the first aid kit. Mira says she’s fine, but the girls know she’s lying and they make her take her shirt off so they can see the injury, since they can figure out it’s somewhere lower down. Lo and behold; the tattoo.

Zoey freaks out and starts just starts asking 20000000000 questions about how the hell Mira knows what the hell that is. Rumi.ex needs to restart because holy shit, her girlfriend has a fucking succubus symbol tattoo and didn’t tell anyone about this and why does she look so hot. Both girls are gay panicking though, because Mira has a succubus tattoo and that’s hot as hell.

Mira is very happy with how it all turned out, but wished her girls weren’t so concerned so she could’ve shown it in a cooler, and better, way.

in this sunset age of season 10, here's your moment to appreciate Joe Hills, the original new guy. Joe's been here since five weeks into season 1 and is one of the 'hermitcraft council' (the hermits who tend to take on more of the admin work). Joe does hermitcraft slightly differently, but still with the mad ambition of any hermit.

You'll find Joe's builds are matched to maps and blueprints and built to a calculated scale (Castle Ravenloft, The Evergiven, Wizards of Wine Winery, Deepfield Pinball Machine, Castle Hohenzollern, Bell Hooks Laboratory).

Joe's art is not about building, however (it's not content, it's art). Joe is the master of malicious compliance and finds an obscure place in many hermitcraft events and stories. He outplayed Grian in the S6 prank war by calling in an IOU banning Grian from retaliating. He ran season 7 without diamond gear, season 8 without elytra.

It's not about the challenge either, however. Joe cut his Minecraft teeth with ultra hardcore maps, but before that he was streaming art for the webcomic he wrote (Jacque of all blades) on the channel he set up to practice stand up comedy.

Joe has spoken often about curating a community, about ensuring bigots know that they are not welcome. He has spoken about ensuring he's paying his mods, his project manager and any artists he works with fairly (recently he paid a community member to help him accurately depict the way light refracts in a prism). He has mid roll ads turned off and has substituted them with a patreon tier that replaces ads with either a poem or a poetry prompt of Joe's own devising.

This is the Joe Hills difference, a focus on presenting a way of building an ethical community, of streaming in a style that makes it seem possible for anyone to stream, a focus on the hermitcraft community.

Joe Hills threw a coup to get us season two, Mumbo Jumbo, and ZombieCleo.

They're wearing promise rings, your honor

In Korea, there's a tradition where couples will exchange promise rings- known simply as couples rings- on the 100th day of the relationship to signify their deep commitment to each other. These rings are oftentimes worn on the right ring finger, as opposed to the left, in order to avoid confusion for a wedding band while still maintaining a very significant weight + meaning.

Notice how Zoemira are wearing matching gold rings. On the same finger. The right ring finger, to be exact. Hm. And with NO other accessories. Hmm. Even though we have seen them accessorize with multiple rings before. Hmmmm!

I'm just saying, the animators made a choice and I am noticing said choice. I will now be imagining one million scenarios revolving around Zoemira promise rings, walk with me here.

One of them shyly proposing with a golden ring on the 100th day of being together, "If the Honmoon turning golds means it's going to last forever, then I want our relationship to be just like that..." and then the other rushes to grab her own box with her own golden ring and, laughing with tears in her eyes, offers up the ring with a choked up, "I was thinking the same thing."

Zoemira being very, very, VERY careful when taking off their respective rings and tucking them safely with their clothes when they go to the bathhouse together. When they're done bathing, it's the very first thing they check on and immediately slip back onto their finger before putting on any clothes.

They can't wear their promise rings during shows, public Huntrix outings like fan signings, etc etc lest they catch heated speculation from observant fans and paparazzi alike (dating is a hugeeee no-go for idols unfortunately), but that doesn't mean they don't have them on their person at all times if they can help it. Secured into inside pockets of their clothes, long stringed necklaces that stay underneath their tops, so on and so forth. I like to think, despite it being the easiest solution to avoid rumors and speculation, they choose to forgo wearing their rings on a different finger. These specific rings have a very specific symbolism- it's either gonna be on their ring finger or no finger. And if it's not gonna be on a finger, then they're still going to have it on their person in some way because unless absolutely necessary you best believe they're never taking those rings off.

^^^^Which is why they like to wear 'em when out in public when disguised!! Yay they can properly wear their promise rings and not get fleck for it!!! Like yes hold on Rumi we’re gonna go to the tonic doctor but we gotta get blinged up first. These matching rings are SUPER vital to the disguises and it’s INCREDIBLY important they’re worn properly ie on our ring fingers specifically. Don’t look too deeply into it (yeah I’m of the boat Rumi never realized Zoemira were already together pre-canon, to be fair girly had a lot on her plate to deal with) (she’s also never noticed their flirting attempts to get her to be their third but that’s neither here nor there).

Give me disguised!Zoey grabbing disguised!Mira by the hand to drag her through a busy and crowded marketplace, speed yapping through the one million lyric ideas she's recently come up with while mindlessly rubbing Mira's promise ring with her thumb, and in turn Mira intently listening and hoping her girlfriend doesn't let go of her hand anytime soon.

Give me Zoemira pinky promises featuring the promise rings. Oftentimes, Zoey will playfully challenge Mira with a, "Oh yeah? Pinky promise?" and stick out her pinky. Mira would then hook her own pinky with Zoey's and reply, "I promise" before rotating her own hand and in turn rotating Zoey's hand (since their pinkies are still hooked together), and as she's bowing her head and titling it a little not unlike the MOST dashing and charming she/her prince to ever grace this Earth, Mira maintains flirty eye contact with Zoey as she presses a sincere kiss to her beloved's promise ring as if giving a seal of approval punctuating how serious she is about keeping her word. It doesn't matter if this is the tenth or hundredth time Mira has pulled this move on her (Zoey has her make pinky promises often, what can she say she's just a silly little guy), the rapper's heart still bursts with warm, fluttery affection every single time. The way she'd giggle as Mira pulls back and shifts her hand so that their fingers are intertwined, oh yeah girly is SWOONING (and on god I can not blame her. Mira Huntrix is the high fashion prince charming she/her boyfriend. God bless handsome femmes).

Gimmick café/college au where Rumi and the Saja Boys all work at a gimmick café where there thing is it being the underworld and they're all demons.

Zoey convinces(bribes &/or blackmails) Mira into checking it out with her and find their server to be "demon princess Rumi"

....

Only "demon princess Rumi" is this girl from their music theory class who is quiet, barely spoken to the two of them despite Zoey's multiple attempts(she thinks Rumi is hot and is persistent.) It's a frequent discussion between Mira and Zoey on whether or not Rumi is shy or a bitch

Well, they meet her at the café and her hair is tied up for the first time ...and holy shit are those tattoos? Is that a colored eye contact? IS THAT AN UNDERCUT? PEIRCINGS?

Well, this quiet and ermanently tense girl is now confident and seductive demon royalty in front of them...these gay disasters are GONE

For a brief moment, they're all quiet. Rumi's eyes are a little wide, the only thing revealing she's just as shocked as they are before she's snaps into character. She shifts her posture into that of someone who knows they're important, Mira hates that it's hot.

She saunters over, swaying her hips and captures Zoey by the wrist, pulling her in.

They filled out the forms and marked down boundaries the actors have to follow. Zoey said it was okay to touch. Something protective still flares in her at her surprised yelp.

She turns her head as she speaks, staring directly at Mira. "My my, what wonderful new play things...come on my darlings, let's get you seated," she punctuates her words with a devilish grin...oh fuck are those fangs? It's the most they've ever heard from her. They stand stunned, long after Rumi lets go of Zoey and gestures for them to follow. Once they break from their stupor they follow her.

Mira can't decide if Zoey or her was right about this. Was this the dumbest thing they could be doing right now, or fun?

Zoey and Mira become regulars, while the girls act like strangers outside of the café, until they're forced into a group project where the girls get to see both sides of Rumi. The apprehensive academic and the confident lady killer

Here's some extra things

Rumi has heterochromia! One of her eyes is dark brown, and the other is Amber. She is insecure about it, so she wears a colored contact to cover it in her day to day life

In her day to day life, she wears her hair down(hiding her super sexy undercut), wears a cardigan or sweater over a turtleneck with jeans or or sometimes khakis

Her and the Saja Boys all got matching tattoos that mimick the patterns we see in canon. All for different reasons

Rumi and Jinu's cover burn scars(not fully, but enough)

Abby got them to take back control of his body after being SA'd

Romance struggled with his appearance for years, constantly trying to look perfect. This was his way of proving to himself his value isn't in how conventionally attractive he is

Baby's was a rebellion from being infantalized by people his whole life growing up in a white area...it's his way of screaming "I'm an adult, I'm capable,"

For Mystery, he was an idol a short time, but and obsessed fan attacked him and in the struggle had extensive vocal cord damage. For him, his tattoos are his new voice

All the tattoos are different colors(Rumi's are pastel rainbow, Jinu's is magenta, Romance is hot pink, Baby is teal, Abby has dark red-pink, and Mystery's is deep purple)

Jinu and Rumi met in a burn victims support group

Jinu was the one who got Rumi her job at the café after she mentioned wanting independence from Celine, who is a well-meaning but overbearing

Mira and Zoey are friends from a prestigious boarding school. Mira was forced into by her parents, Zoey was on scholarship. The bonded over their complicated relationship with family and feeling like outcasts. They moved in together for college, and aren't together but should be. Everyone knows they're in love but them

Rumi's parents died in a housefire when Rumi was a teenager, she was the only survivor out of her mom, dad, and family dog

After that Celine and Tae-hee who are together in this AU take her in. They never want to replace Mi-yeong and Ji-ho but will always be there for and love her like their own daughter

Rumi has some nerve damage from the fire and because of that rarely feels light touches and has some issues with complex motions, she has exercises she does regularly to help and has bi monthly physical therapy appointment.

Mira lowk feels guilty as hell for assuming Rumi is a bitch after getting to know her but is even more upset she owes Zoey money
