so for now i’ll primarily play mishima around the time of the new generation miniseries, before or at the very beginning of the neo kira case.

alternatively, he fits into manga/anime canon well enough for an au; as a university student at the same time as light for first arc (until the movie/novel are more available, i’ll still use “tsukuru mishima” rather than his real name for this timeframe) or as a young officer mentored by soichiro who joins the task force after the time skip for second arc.
