"I should be doing the Master's Degree now in Law, but I'm still at the third year completing the Bachelor’s Degree. The Lebanese University is really tough, I should study harder; I don't wanna fail again."

“it has been 23 years since we have started to go walking for 2 to 3 hours every day. We feel more healthy, and more connected to each other.”

"One day I woke up, and I found out that words could not get out of my mouth, I found myself speechless and voiceless, I found myself mute; my son took me to the hospital. After many medical exams I spoke again but with difficulty. The doctor there gave me Anticoagulant, and after 4 days I fell on the floor, and I lost a lot of blood, so my son took me to CHN, and the doctor there told me that I shouldn't take that Anticoagulant. I wanna ask the minister of health, why don't you stop those doctors who wrongly diagnose patiences."

I used to see this man reading a newspaper on the sidewalk of Mina-Road street every day I go to the university early morning between 7 and 8 AM. Today, I asked him if I can take a photograph of him; he was so friendly with me, but also he was annoyed with the fact that the news seemed too bad.

In a rainy day in El Mina city, there's nothing like standing against the social customs and traditions, and going with your lover to cuddle in front of the sea.

This photograph represents the urban fabric of El Mina city. El Mina, is a coastal city in Northern Lebanon. El-Mina occupies the location of the old Phoenician city of Tripoli. It acts as the harbour city for modern neighbouring Tripoli, Lebanon's second largest city, situated 5 km to the east.

A former shoemaker who passed away years ago left his store for his son who works hard, very hard to feed his children. Some of people think that this man's career is shameful. Well, I totally don't agree with that; people who think like this should really be ashamed of theirselves. Look at his smile, how beautiful it is; it reflects his satisfaction with his career. I really respect, and admire this man.

This is Ali, 10-years-old boy from Aleppo Syria. He works with his family in selling potatoes. He has been in Tripoli since 3 years. He never went to school, he doesn't like it, he said. I asked him about his dreams, and what does he like to be when he's older, can you imagine his response to this question?! He said I will be nothing! He doesn't have any dreams, or any future plans, nothing. Should we really blame him, or his parents? I don't think so.

I was taking a picture of an old man, then this kid came and caught my eyes. I tried to ask him many questions like his name, and where does he come from, but he said nothing. Just silence. Silence speaks sometimes.
