"It's been trying times lately. Luckily you've also had some good moments between the bad ones. I hear your date with Vanilla Extract was successful?"

*they inquire.*

"So having all those mixed feelings... Pardon my weird symbolism, but it's not unlike having a bowl of mixed ingredients. You've got some good stuff in there, and some bad stuff. And it's all coming out quite bland and confusing..."

"And nothing new added to the bowl is going to save it. Maybe make it worse, but you won't get anything good out of it... So, metaphorically speaking, you should try to make an effort to throw it out. Start anew. Forgive and forget the bad things that happened, and pick up the good memories to reuse."
