"Stiles!" Lydia squeaked when Skype finally stopped being a bitch and showed her face to Stiles. She was in a strappy shirt and her hair was up in a ponytail, probably because she was about to sleep. Stiles smiled, genuinely smiled in what felt the first time in a long time, "Hey babe" She immediately frowned. The smile didn't reach his eyes and he looked quite sad. "Stiles, are you okay?" "I just- ugh." He didn't know how to say this without sounding selfish, or too childish, but he had been spending 48 hours with the urge to say this and Stiles Stilinski wasn't one to shut up. "You just... What?" Lydia asked, sitting up straight so she could hear exactly what Stiles had to say. "I just really really miss you," Stiles said. Lydia smiled, "I miss you too. But we'll see-" "It's not about that." Stiles interrupted, "I just- I just wanted you to be here with us... Y'know." Lydia's features softened at this words, he looked away from the camera. "Stiles, you know I need this." She simply spoke. "There's plenty of good schools in California, Lydia. I don't get why you had to go all the way to New York." "Because it was the original plan? And I already was admitted into freaking Stanford! I wasn't just gonna drop it because my friends couldn't come with me! I can't keep doing that!" Lydia told him. Stiles eyes narrowed, "When have you ever done that? You're always putting yourself first! Ever think of us?" About me, he wanted to say. Yet he didn't want to sound that selfish. "You're kidding me," Lydia whispers. "I certainly am not." "Stiles, I could have left last year. That was my original plan. To leave as fast as I could. But I stayed, I freaking stayed and now I have this" she points to where the hole in her head is "and this" to the slit of her neck "and oh, this!" She raises her shirt up and shows her the scar of when Tracy hurt her. Stiles is silent. Lydia focuses the camera on her face again and he can see how her eyes are getting watery. "I went through all of this for you, Stiles. I wanted to be with you so I stayed, even through all that crap." He keeps silent. "My first boyfriend left me. My best-friend died along with my ex-boyfriend that night. Every time I round a corner in Beacon Hills I feel like I want to throw up, so why can't you be happy I'm away from all that?" Because you're away from me, Stiles thought. He didn't dare to say it out loud. "I thought so," She responds to Stiles' silence and he can see how she reaches over and closes the laptop and he knows he's fucked it up, badly. TELL ME IF I SHOULD CONTINUE!!!! I LOVED THIS IDEA

Ok the trailer for season 6 when stiles is in the doorway when he went to visit Lydia he kinda disappears so that's another confirmation he'll be lost and also he pulls away from Lydia's hand maybe he won't remember who she is or something and that thing that Jeff said about memories being important maybe he does lose his memories or something and Stydia plays a huge role because all those reversed scenes have to mean something!!!! Like Lydia's gonna be the one who has to do the hand holding or the looking for each other!!!
