Why learning english is pointless 

 I have to make the title very eye-catching so please ignore it. Have you ever thought that learning English is really pointless? Because you can learn it from youtube instead? These past 3 months I learned a lot on term 1 and while doing it offline makes it much easier for me to learn. I always thought that learning English was boring. It's only learning about grammar and for me I always think that if the sentence is correct then I’ll get good scores, it's just that easy! Turns out not only is it boring but it's also hard for me to learn about the grammar and I still misspelled some words. Doing school offline changed my perspective on English much better. While learning english online I never really pay attention to the lesson that much.

Trying to understand english because it is my job

In our very first week I learned about plagiarism saying that we should be more careful next time and also adding up to that we also learned about APA citations where I learned about how to citate sites properly. Next up we focus on how to write properly about reading and writing like learning about context, audience, purpose, register, language and style. This was a tough one to start but overtime I was able to do it much better than last time. After that I learn about persuasive writing and one of my favorites is about personal writing. Personal writing is one of my favorites because the writing is about telling our feelings and thoughts about one particular topic. From the start of term one until the end of the term I learned a lot more about grammar and my vocabulary is getting bigger and I got lot more confident in speaking in english. If I keep on trying to learn english than I probably won't stutter that much in public speaking.

I'm not getting paid enough to do this

After learning a lot on term 1 I started to learn much more about learning english and doing it offline it was much more refreshing than doing it offline. I always try to put a lot of effort on my group work especially the PSA one, kinda regret doing it but when will I have a school project that uses my editing skill.I still find some topics kinda hard since I’m not a big fan of learning it but some topics like the APA citation are very useful for the future. The rest of the topic…. I kinda don't understand it that much…..So praying to God it will be useful but for now…. I’ll just keep the lesson behind my back. Hopefully my english teacher won't be mad at me

What's next?

There's so much going on right now especially that I’ll be entering term 2, there will be less weeks for me to do tests and homeworks. It will be very stressful for me. But while waiting for term 2 to start I’ll be enjoying my stay by joining with my friends going to Jogja, getting my stress out and trying to make the most out of it. After that I will spend more days at home and hopefully at the start of term 2 I can be much more active and try to get my grades up SINCE I THINK I'M KINDA FAILING IN ENGLISH SO I NEED TO GET MY GRADE UP.
