As I sat there thinking about what I had read, I started to have a vision. All the stories and adventures I had ever read began swirling around me. I began to hear the most exquisite birdsong and then it changed, it was still birdsong but it was inside me and I could understand the secret language of the birds. They told me not to be afraid. I’m not sure what to make of it…. I was recently awarded beta access to the Dall.E AI image generation system. This particular image came up from one of my prompts. It is indeed odd that it looks a little like me, I did not give it inputs based on my image. My hope is that I can use this system to develop concepts which I can then reproduce in traditional media (ie a painting or sculpture). That way it will truly be a collaboration. Man and Machine taking another step towards integration of Mind. Next step in the lion headed Pauldron journey complete. My fist rotocast or slush cast with smooth on 65D. Then trimmed up the piece. Now I can prep for paint. And of course start casting more. This was a new experience and definitely not perfect but we are over the first time hurdle. Light Therapy forever!! I built this budget photobiomodulation set up to help us with general aches and pains, cellular regeneration, and rehabilitation. It consists of two large area panels and a focused spot light. The wavelengths are a mixture of 850nm near infra-red and 605nm deep red light. We are just beginning to understand the importance and power of light as a therapeutic tool, for cell regeneration, pain relief and much more. The exact mechanism is still being researched but the prevailing theory is “that the photons dissociate inhibitory nitric oxide from the enzyme, leading to an increase in electron transport, mitochondrial membrane potential and ATP production.” This action happens in one of the most important cellular chromophores which is cytochrome c oxidase (COX). COX contains both heme and copper centers and absorbs light into the near-infra-red region. I have so much more to say on the subject including how pulsed light in this spectrum at specific frequencies on the head is being studied as a treatment for neurodegenerative diseases and may actually potentiate neurogenesis (new neurons being formed).
