He chuckled a little and nodded. "I get that. My mom felt the same, but in the end, it should just matter what you guys want." That's what mattered most to him and Lils and they were definitely happy in their marriage. But he knew everyone had their own thing and he was supportive of Eli and Isla. "I'm sure it will be." He agreed with a smile. "It definitely can be and thanks for that. We definitely do, but it's nice knowing we have so much support." @elianxbrowne
"I wish we'd get away with it, though I think her grandparents might have my head if we did it that way." He knew how traditional that they were, even wanting Isla and Eli to get married in their church. Elian respected them too much to do anything else but a man could dream. "No matter when you have one it will be a magical day, again," Eli told Travis with a bright smile. "That's great," he nodded his head, "I'm sure it can be tough, though, having not good days mixed in there and if either if you need anything, you know you can count on me. Not that I don't doubt you don't already have a village of people helping you out." @travisjackson

He nodded. "I could've told you that one." Travis pointed out to him. He knew how Lili was feeling and there wasn't any jokes to have there. Listening to him, he nodded. "I have no doubt. It's just a little at a time." And he was her biggest supporter. He wouldn't force her to do anything she didn't want to do, but knew her determination would get her to where she wanted to be. "Good. Thanks for helping out with all this. I appreciate having you around." @drewxjackson
"I don't think she's up for paralympic jokes yet." He told his brother. Humour worked with a lot of his patients, able to joke about their ailments and darker periods as a way of coping. Today wasn't a good day for his brother's wife, it seemed. Following Travis through the house to get his niece in a warmer getup. "I think she wasn't up for any of her exercises today. Ups and downs, it's normal. She'll be putting her all into it again tomorrow, don't worry." He comforted his brother, knowing that moments like these seemed helpless. "She already is able to make a pincer movement, which is great this soon. Just have to get the strength in it and get her to work on her leg and core strength too." @travisjackson

He laughed and nodded. "Hey, as someone who did a slightly similar thing, it's worth it. Trust me." Travis loved the house he built and he knew Lili was too. It was their forever house, and he wouldn't have it any other way. "I understand that one. It was worth it just waking up one morning and going to get married the same day." He chuckled. "We still want a ceremony, though. Might just be a bit. They're good though. Lili's going through her physical therapy and some days are better than others." Which was expected, he was just glad she was awake. "Bella May is great. She's growing so fast it feels like." @elianxbrowne
"Great," he smiled at Travis as he sat down across the table from him. "Things are going great." Eli had a feeling that with everything going on, that he didn't want to tiptoe around their own lives. "We've been house hunting, actually. Though I have a feeling I might end up building her a dream Barbie house at this rate," he joked, shaking his head as a smile grew. "Wedding planning is going well. We haven't set a date," he told Travis, "trying to get all the things we want to line up is trickier than I thought it would be." He chuckled softly, "How's Lili and your daughter?" @travisjackson

"And it was a woman?" He asked, the whole thing sounding weird. "Why would you do that?" Travis wasn't understanding the whole thing there and maybe it was coming off weird, but the whole thing was strange to him. "And you're sure it's yours?" He asked another question as he crossed his arms and stared at Ben. @benjaminxjackson
Ben sighed and looked at his brother. "Well, that period I was a mess and before I got help. I got drunk and ended up sleeping with someone I have worked with in the past. I know it was stupid but ya..." he explained as he looked at his brother. Ben was not someone who did random hook-up or one night stands like that but he was drunk and a mess. Still, he was also someone to be careful. "She called me and met and told me she was pregnant." @travisjackson

Travis hadn't heard his older brother come into the place, even as the man whispered. The dogs had yet to notice either as both were just lounging about in the living room around him. Bella May was up sleeping and Lili was resting as well so Travis thought he'd look over some of the school work the substitute teacher had sent him. He hadn't gone back to work just yet, though he was considering doing it soon because him and Lili would need the extra money, but he still liked to look over the worksheets and grade them as much as he could. He had thought he saw movement coming from the kitchen and he looked back to see his brother and he jumped. "Jesus." He said and stood as he went in there. "I thought your job was to help bring life into the world, not try to take one out." He teased. @mitchelljackson

"Hey little bro." Mitchell whispered, the bag he'd brought along placed on the countertop, quietly as the dishes inside were pretty loud. He'd arrived at his youngest brothers house a few moments prior, of course not empty handed. While Mitchell himself could cook, his partner was quite the chef in the kitchen and meal prepping for families was something she appreciated; doing it for family was something she appreciated even more; so of course she didn't let Mitchell leave empty handed. He'd decided to make his way to his youngest brother's house, doing his best to be there for him in the light of everything that had happened recently. He wasn't one to impose, of course, so his goal was to check in and either help around the house or leave, whatever Travis needed. However, he also knew how critical it was to be quiet especially with a sleeping baby and wife around, hence why he'd been whispering upon arrival. He didn't want to make a scene, so instead he leaned against the counter, scrolling through his phone as he waited for Travis to realize he was there.

Raising an eyebrow, Travis looked at him. "What do you mean you're having a kid?" He asked curiously. "Like you're adopting or doing something via a surrogate?" He asked, trying to make the whole thing make sense in his brain because this was Ben. Ben wasn't straight so him having a kid just wasn't processing in the man's brain. @benjaminxjackson
If Ben was honest, he would say that his brothers and family opinion were very important to him and he was scared of their reaction how they would react to the news. "Sorry, sorry. I am having a kid," he finally said it out. He did not know why it was so hard to say the words. "I am going to be a dad in April Trav...." @travisjackson

"Hey, nothing wrong with that." Travis smiled at him and looked at the empty seat as Eli's eyes went to it. "I can join you for a bit. The pizza is still being cooked so no reason why I can't sit and wait." He smiled at the man. "So, how's everything going? How's wedding planning? Have you guys set a date yet?" The man asked curiously. He was happy him and Lili didn't wait to do a big wedding, but at the same time, he couldn't wait to one day do a ceremony with her. @elianxbrowne
Eli was spending the evening alone and while the man didn't mind cooking for himself when he left the office, he had zero ambition to do so. "Well, just for me," he laughed as he looked up at Travis, "Isla is out with the ladies tonight so it's just me and pizza," he paused a moment, looking at the empty spot at the table across from him. "Unless you've got time to join me? I don't want to keep you from Liliana if you're need to get back to her." @travisjackson

Hearing the glass, Travis quickly grabbed Bella and started making his way down the hall to check on Lili and Andrew. He knew his brother was trying to help her with the physical therapy and some days were better than others, so when his twin said to not go in there and that his Lili's aim was good, he knew what happened. "She could go out for baseball any day now." He smiled at him before nodding. "Yeah. Let me get her bundled up." He looked at the room and debated going in to talk to his wife, but was going to let her calm down so he turned and went to get Bella into warmer clothes. "What happened?" @drewxjackson
After the sound of shattering glass and his hurried footsteps out of the bedroom, Andrew looked up to find his brother standing in the hallway, his eyes shifting down to the baby he was cradling, back up to his face again. "Yeah... I wouldn't go in there if I were you." Andrew warned his brother, looking over his shoulder where he had just left his sister-in-law behind, brushing off his sweater as if the glass had gotten on him too. "It's safe to say her left side and aim are still good." It wasn't that strange to find that Liliana got frustrated with the physical training, but he'd barely got started until she'd lost her temper on him. Maybe Travis had more luck.. Later, though. "Feel like taking a walk with Bella or something?" @travisjackson

The connection between the two had always gone both ways. If the roles were reverse, he'd be just like Andrew and be able to sense the pain that went through his brother. However the roles were not reverse and while Travis didn't want to be going through this at all, he would never wish that the roles were different. Sobbing into his twin, he let himself release all that he had locked up. He was good at keeping things bottled in when he wanted, but with Andrew, they all came out. Minutes passed before he finally moved back and he swallowed. "I told you not to come." Travis spoke, trying to joke, but no sense of amusement was coming out of him. @drewxjackson

Travis nodded as he smiled down at his wife. "Of course I did. I bring her everywhere." It was true. He very rarely let Bella May out of his sight so he took her wherever he could. He loved his daughter deeply and after everything that happened, he wasn't about to just leave her alone. "Yeah? I'll call Andrew." He said before kissing Lili's forehead and nodded. "Of course I will." He told her before calling his brother and telling him to get up there with their daughter. "She'll be up in a moment." @lilianaxjackson
"Definitely should." She uttered, carefully swallowing as to minimise the pain. She nodded when he told her he would talk to the staff, ask them for more information. At least she had him to keep track of things, for which the was grateful. When he started talking about Bella May, she couldn't suppress the smile, but neither could she suppress the tears that started to well in her eyes. She'd missed so much already it broke her heart. Would she even recognise her? It seemed silly to think, but it was a fear that had been spinning in her head ever since she woke up and was told it had been weeks. "You brought her with you?" She asked, her bottom lip quivering. She wished her daughter hadn't been exposed to a hospital environment, but realised how much that gesture had meant to her. "I would really love to see her." Her voice was a near squeak now, her emotions overwhelming her. "You'll help me hold her, right?" @travisjackson

He nodded as he listened to Ben talk. "So, you gotta spit it out any time soon or we gonna be here until the dishes are done?" He asked teasingly as he put another dish away and grabbed another to dry it. There was nothing that irritated Travis more than when people beat around the bush when they were trying to tell him something. He liked when people were just straight up about it. @benjaminxjackson
Ben chuckled, thinking back when they were kids and often his brothers would sometimes pawn their dishes on him. Most times Ben did not mind it at all. He sighed and got a bit quiet and stopped what he was doing when he looked at Trav. "Well...something," he finally answered after a moment. "It's complicated and not something I planned nor expected." @travisjackson

closed starter for @elianxbrowne location: dough depot
When Dough Depot started selling gluten free pizza, Travis had been excited. This was years ago, but the man did love pizza so he made sure that he had it often. It had actually had been a little bit since he had ordered one and figured it would be a good night to get the first pizza of the new year. He had ordered and was about to go sit down when he spotted Elian at a table. "Eli, hey." He said with a smile. "Pizza night for you guys too, huh?"

"I'd pawn them all off on you if I could." Travis chuckled a little and put more of the dishes away before turning to his brother. His eyes were creased and he looked at Ben curiously. "What do you mean? You adopting or something?" He asked and threw the towel over his shoulder and crossed his arms as he studied Ben and tried to figure out where this was going. @benjaminxjackson
Ben always enjoyed dinners with his brothers and he really enjoyed tonight. Ben knew how busy he could get and how busy they could all get and made it hard to find time together. So dinners like this was a way for all of them to catch up. He was also glad that Travis, Lili and Bella were all doing well. He knew how hard things had been for his brother. "Anytime, I know you have always hated doing dishes," he chuckled shaking his head. Ben did not mind dishes, he often enjoyed most of the time but he knew a lot of chef who hated it. "So, I have a question for you Trav. How would you feel if I tell you that Bella might be getting another cousin and you will be an uncle again...." Ben asked his brother. Ben did not know how Travis will react to the news. @travisjackson

He laughed a little and just stared into her eyes. He was having trouble believing this was real, she was actually awake. He let her focus on his hair and he just smiled down into her eyes. "Maybe I should keep it then." Travis said softly as he looked into her eyes. "You're telling me." He sighed and shook his head. "Okay. I'll talk to them so I know what's going on." He touched her cheek softly and caressed her cheek with his thumb. He needed to know what was going on and what the plans were to get Lili healed. As the topic of their daughter came up, he smiled and looked down at her. "She's perfect." He laughed a little. "She, uh, keeps me up all night and loves being held. She loves being wrapped in one of your shirts and gets your scent whenever we're not here." He swallowed. "She's downstairs if you want to see her. I'll have Andrew bring her up." @lilianaxjackson
"I like your hair long." She told him, attentively stroking his stubbled cheek before she moved it up and caressed them through his somewhat longer locks of hair. It wasn't much different, but she could tell. "You're always handsome." The woman said as if in a reminder, offering him a smile that was meant to soothe him rather than anything else. Liliana sucked in a breath when he asked how she was, lowering her hand and instead placing it around his. "They have." The woman nodded, lips pursed together. "Eclampsia is a bitch." She uttered, trying to keep it light despite just wanting to sob about it all day. "They're already putting a rehabilitation program together for my left side, saying that the sooner we start, the better chance I'll have for recovery. Whatever that means." Would it mean going back to normal? Would she have to use a cane? A wheelchair? She didn't want to think about it. "And my memory will be groggy for a while, so if I forgot I ate, you'll just have to indulge me." She shrugged, sneaking in a little white lie. "But enough about me, what is she like?" She tragically asked, not having gotten a chance to know her daughter yet. She was at least glad to hear that, despite being in a coma, she still proved useful enough to draw breast milk so she could eat. It made her feel less of a shitty mother, at least. "Tell me everything." @travisjackson

The bond that had him tethered to Travis had ever remained strong, unwavering despite any distance between them, Yet it was at it's most intense whenever Andrew would look at him, no words needed in order to gauge how his brother was feeling. He could feel his pain, feel the stress that clenched his shoulders and carried with him the weight of the world on his shoulders. He stood as solid as a tree when his brother hugged him, his arms protectively forming around him. As if he would attempt to protect him from outside dangers. "I'm here brother." Andrew uttered, allowing Travis to break down if that was what he needed. And he'd be there to pick up the pieces when he was done. "I'm here." @travisjackson
