This is one of our favorite places in Madrid. It is an ancient Egyptian temple that was dismantled and rebuilt in Madrid, Spain. It is also the best spot to enjoy the sunset in Madrid considering that it’s on a hill and it has great views of the city. The holocaust memorial in Berlin is a memorial to the murdered jews of Europe. It is made up of a grid of equally shaped stones that differ only in their height. Standing on the outside of the memorial, the stones look unimposing, but as you go further into the memorial the stones grow in height making you feel smaller and smaller until you are surrounded on all sides by high walls.
