So we ate supper at clam
Bar on rt 27 out of Montauk! It was fab, clam chowder best ever, crab cakes over strawberry crunch salad, he had mussels. All was delicious! The place doesn’t look like much, but oh so good!

We had a fabulous time the last few days, exploring what feels like a lot of Long Island.
We checked into Indian IslandCounty park Saturday morning. We ate lunch at Jerry and the Mermaid. We headed for the Uncle Charlie’s band event in Riverhead. Great time, Mickey saw some of his childhood friends. We stopped to see his cousin Tim who happens to work less than a half mile from RV Park. We ate at the RV afterwards.
Sunday we were on way to see Aunt Rita and stopped for lunch at Nantuckets in Port Jefferson. It was great. We headed toward Mattituck Breakwater Beach, there were beautiful pebbles and if you dug under them there was some tumbled glass we found about 7 pieces in 45 sitting and digging. We then left for Bailie Beach. I found one piece, not so tumbled in 15 minutes. We proceeded onto Diliberto Winery. The Winery areas on the North Fork were lovely. It was very nice, a little taste of Italy.
This morning we headed toward Montauk lighthouse and a diner. Didn’t find breakfast without a wait. We ate leftovers. The lighthouse and grounds were beautiful. Too rocky to swim!
We proceeded to a inferior mex joint on 27. Don’t go there. Then we finally found a nice beach. Kirk Park Beach in Montauk. On south (Atlantic). It’s beautiful but very rough, too rough to swim!
