On the midnight flight going somewhere. Back to #traveling in the age of #Covid feels a little strange. The amount of space was a #throwback to #flying before #planes were jam-packed and every seat occupied. I had a whole row to myself and I mean the WHOLE ROW - 9 seats straight across. The row behind was empty too. On the calendar it is still #summer but around #Denver it is feeling like #fall and that is a good reason to get outside and enjoy a #GreenSiloIPA at the #Wynkoop’s new outdoor dining area that they christened as The Coop. I know ... I know they misspelled #TheKoop but they have launched a new Chicken n #Beer menu during the #CovidTimes while the do renovations on the main bar and dinning room. I hope they don’t mess with the layout of the main bar. While I’m sure it is maddeningly inefficient, the higgly-piggly shape of the bar is the essence of The #Koop. It creates social currents and eddies around the bar. The entrance of the church in the town of #Felline in the #Salento region of #Puglia #Italy. My bicycle tour with @SalentoBiciTours concluded right in front of this church in the the almost impossibly picturesque village of Felline. It was like being dropped onto the set of a Fellini movie. A marching band played in the town square decorated with hundreds of lights all to commemorate a holy festival. (at Felline, Puglia, Italy)

WHERE WOULD YOU MOST LIKE TO VISIT ON YOUR PLANET?

Right now anywhere in Africa is high on my list and any island any time.

I'd love to visit Iceland, Italy and Bhutan

And, a return trip to Brazil is something I'd enjoy.

The Travel Boldly blog is moving …

TravelBoldly.com is up and running - kind of … The main posts for Travel Boldly Blog are still hosted at http://travelboldly.blogspot.com/ and will be for a few more weeks.  We expect to launch the redesigned Travel Boldly in September 2012. 

We’ll be featuring new travels to such destinations as the Big Island of Hawaii, Santa Fe New Mexico, The Riviera Maya Mexico, Glenwood Springs, Colorado, Bora Bora in French Polynesia, Mesquite, Nevada, and many more.

We are also launching Travel Boldly Tours this autumn as well. We are currently working on bringing you exciting photo-centric tours and photography workshops to locations in Greece, Cuba, England, Colorado, Fiji and Tahiti. Tentative dates for Cuba, Greece, England, and Colorado are listed below.
