Celestial Spirit Keys

This is how I imagine the Celestial Spirit Keys to work in universe (also sorry for possible flash banging due to the images as well as images not being the best quality)

Keys in general:

They have a default form before a wizard comes into possession of the key, appearing as just like an abandoned key rather than something magical unless you're a wizard capable of sensing the magic inside of the key

(This can work as a possible explanation for why Celestial Spirit Magic is scarce in canon while still being popular enough to be sold in shops)

Keys once in the possession of a wizard will change in appearance to fit the holder's preferences

(This matches how spirits can change how they look to match the wizard's preferences. i.e. Virgo when under Everlue in comparison to under Lucy)

(Lucy's keys having that paper feel of a white background and then the symbol/constellation there to represent which spirit it is as a possible explanation for Lucy having glasses)

Golden Keys: The Zodiac Spirits

Golden Keys do have a most basic design (before claimed) with a small symbol near the center to distinguish each key from one another

Near the bottom of the key handle I added the symbol of the Church of Zentopia as a reference/call back as well as the golden keys being where they got their symbol to begin with

(I do have a whole headcanon for the Church of Zentopia but that is for another day, just know they are a cult who focus on astronomy/astrology)

Silver Keys: The Companions

Silver Keys are the most common with the two central star holes being the main factor in these keys being recognized the easiest

After in the possession of a wizard the star holes will be a reoccurring feature

Silver Keys also have many different functions as since in the anime/manga such as being support for battles (offensive or defensive) or as companions (hair dresser, musician, navigator, etc)

Obsidian Keys: The Forgotten Constellations

Obsidian Keys are quite scarce in the world of Fairy Tail while having the most to them (102 total) but that is due to them only appearing alone in abandoned locations or simply in the ground compared to golden and silver keys being found in treasure troves/hoards

Celestial Spirit Magic

I've fallen back into my Fairy Tail rabbit hole once again so here is my headcanon on Celestial Spirit Magic.

There's a bunch of astronomical and astrological magic in Earthland, and Celestial Spirit Magic is the spiritual representation of constellations.

Celestial Spirit Magic is the most common out of all of the astronomical/astrological magics (most common but this magic type is still rare) and in my head canon there is only one key per constellation. You may be saying now, but there's only 88 total constellations but just you wait.

Now onto the biggest plot hole, only 88 keys in the whole world? No no. I did a bit of Wikipedia searching and googling and there are former constellations and I did count and there were 101 constellations. So there is a total of 189 keys in the world.

Golden Keys are still the strongest representing the Zodiac (I did also headcanon each of the Zodiac over to fit better with astrological interpretation of the Zodiac signs alongside trying to keep close enough to the the original, but that's for a later time). Golden keys also represent the "good guys" with the golden hues when summoning spirits from the celestial spirit realm.

Silver Keys would be the most common types of keys with only 75 but they are sold at magic shops and aren't known for their prowess in strength and powers but rather as companions.

Lastly, Black Keys (I like calling them Obsidian Keys since that sounds nicer but I digress). The only canon key that we have is Ophiuchus, the Snake Charmer, which once googled yet again, was categorized as the 13th Zodiac yet not part of the club since the Mesopotamians thought that the time frame that the sun was within the constellation's range was short, so it was forgotten. So I would like to have 102 total black keys made up from the former constellations which as they are forgotten, their powers and abilities can range from minimal to absolute destruction. As they are forgotten, the keys would be considered or at least associated with Dark Magic.

It's the Lunar New Year and the year of the dragon, so I wanted to draw a little picture of the dragon slayers but I procrastinated so... you only get Natsu and Igneel.

Healing in Fairy Tail????

We've seen that Wendy, Sherria, Acnologia, and Porlyusica all have healing abilities but I wanted to know if the thing that allows them to heal is a correlation with sky magic.

Wendy is a sky dragon slayer, and can only heal others both in a physical and "mental" way such as boosting magic

Sherria the sky god slayer (rip) can do the same as Wendy but also for herself

Acnologia was a dragon doctor and was seen stopping the bleeding of an injury and... that's it

And lastly Porlyusica uses potions and those types of thing to heal but never directly using magic

So like, is healing tied with sky magic????

(Also I've read a headcanon of Sting being a healer too. light = healing. but then would that apply to like Jellal and Lucy who use light based magic from the stars and stuff like that or are we focusing on the white/holy aspect of his magic?)
