Are there any guides on trading and etiquette for an absolute beginner? I’m looking to purchase some bootlegs/masters but I don’t know if that’s accepted or if you need to trade exclusively for them? But AFAIK I can’t trade because I have nothing TO trade. I’m almost afraid to ask because I don’t know the unwritten rules of this community and don’t want to offend

Confession #1184:

Once, before I understood why YouTube leaks were hurting the community, I stumbled upon a WATT bootleg (I believe it was SCJ's master) posted, low quality. However, one of the comments complaining about the quality of the video had a reply that linked DIRECTLY TO THE MASTER'S GOOGLE DRIVE LINK. I don't know how this happened but I was shocked when I realized what this could mean for the community if this becomes the norm. I cannot emphasize enough to protect the masters, or this community's gone.

Someone got mad at me once for not listening to every boot in my collection. I have 5k+ boots.

Even though I have over a thousand total boots now, I still feel like my collection is only a drop in the bucket... I wonder if I will ever be satisfied.

Because of how long it's been since anything was really sent in, I'm going to be purging a bunch of the confessions currently in the inbox. Specifically, I'll be deleting ones from around the original time of the shutdown.

Encora is removing its trading feature sometime soon. It's not clear if the list function will still work, but please back your collections up just to be safe. It's also best to add contact information that isn't Encora messaging.

In all seriousness, I've been putting this blog off to the backburner. Kind of just got overwhelmed with making the new conf pics. I need to try to figure out a new system that won't drive me nuts, and it might just be text posts. If anyone has any input, it'd be great to hear and also maybe extremely helpful.

That's a good question! I honestly have no idea. Hate to tell you, but I personally don't think he'll be back at all. He might surprise us, though.
