Testosterone is prescribed to women for sexual dysfunction, fatigue, joint pain, and more. Low testosterone in women causes depression. Testosterone is medically necessary for some intersex women to function in life.

Can we please. Please please stop gendering hormones. I feel crazy seeing serious and joke posts about T being the magical hormone to save mascs from feminity and fix their dysphoria. Women with high T can be feminine. Women prescribed T can be feminine. Women who consider themselves feminine but have bodies that society deems masc aren't less of women when they're on T. T has made me feel more feminine, personally.

Idk I guess I'm just exhausted by the exclusion-by-default embedded in the language perisex trans people use. When we say you all use language that excludes us, it's like constantly in 500 different ways every single day. Intersex people have been standing hard by trans mascs side in support of them having their own terminology for their oppression and shit but we still slip through the cracks in your awareness no matter how much we try.
